-It was announced today in DGUSA.tv News Alerts that CIMA will continue his Warriors International Challenge on 9/25 in Chicago and 9/26 in Milwaukee. CIMA will handpick an upcoming independent talent to wrestle on those events. He will pick whoever impresses him the most to be the US Representative for the Warriors International stable.
-Mike Quackenbush vs. Dragon Kid has been signed for 9/26 in Milwaukee.
-Akebono will be available for autographs and pictures on 10/29 in Fall River, MA and 10/30 in Rahway, NJ. Additional talent confirmed for both shows that weekend include: Open The Dream Gate Champion Masato Yoshino; Open The Freedom Gate Champion BxB Hulk; Shingo; YAMATO; Jon Moxley; Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw. RING OF HONOR NEWS

– ROH President Cary Silkin has announced that a small amount of tickets to the 9/11 Glory by Honor Internet PPV will be released the day of the show.
– Christopher Daniels vs. Austin Aries and ROH TV champion Eddie Edwards vs. Shawn Daivari have been added to the 9/11 ROH show.
– WFX in Canada has issued a statement in which they accuse ROH of using footage to promote Charlie Haas’ 9/11 debut without permission. This is likely a mistake as there is no such footage on any official ROH video or ROH On HDNet series.
– Both Cary Silkin and Prince Nana (and others) are now writing regularly for the official ROH website.
– ROH Tag Team champions The Kings of Wrestling vs. Colt Cabana & El Generico has been added to the 9/10 ROH show in Plymouth, MA.

ROH officials are happy to announce that Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli have signed on to stay with Ring of Honor. For Chris Hero, it is an extension of his existing contract and for Claudio Castagnoli it is the signing of a new contract. The current ROH World Tag Team Champions have dominated in the tag team division since reforming at “Final Battle 2009”, and have had some of the most captivating bouts of 2010 including battles against The Briscoes at “The Big Bang” and “Death Before Dishonor VIII”.
“We are very happy to have Hero & Claudio on board with Ring of Honor for the foreseeable future.” said ROH President Cary Silkin, “These are two of the most talented wrestlers competing today, and it’s quite exciting to see how they will continue to excel not only in our tag team division, but in the singles ranks as well.”
Hero & Claudio will be in action next weekend with an ROH World Tag Team Title defense against Colt Cabana & El Generico in Plymouth, MA on Sept. 10th and a Dream Tag Team match-up against Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas on Sept. 11th at “Glory by Honor IX”.
(Bristol, PA- September 2, 2010)- Ring of Honor will be holding a special training seminar and tryout camp on Sunday, October 3, 2010, from 10AM to 7PM. It will take place at ROH’s headquarters and training center in suburban Philadelphia. The seminar is one again being spearheaded by ROH on HDNet Executive Producer Jim Cornette.
“The seminar we held in back in March was quite a success.” Cornette said. “Already one of the participants (Mike Bennett) has been signed to a contract, and several others have competed in dark matches prior to Ring of Honor events. This is not just an audition where you pay money and get nothing in return. Everyone, both ROH and the attendees, will learn something.”
Ring of Honor returned to Collinsville, IL on July 23rd for a great night of wrestling action. The DVD of this event titled “Hate: Chapter II” will begin shipping this coming Tuesday (September 7th). This event features The American Wolves vs. GenerationMe in an action packed tag team encounter; Kevin Steen vs. El Generico in a Grudge Match; The Kings of Wrestling and Sara Del Rey vs. The Briscoe Brothers and Amazing Kong; plus much more. EVOLVE Wrestling NEWS

A Six-Way Match has been signed for “EVOLVE 5: Danielson vs. Sawa” on September 11th in Rahway, NJ at the Rahway Rec Center with a special 4pm belltime. However, there is a catch for the competitors. The first fall will win it. This means that one man will get the win, another will suffer the loss and the other four will have nothing to show for the day. The match pits Brad Allen (2-1) vs. Johnny Gargano (2-2) vs. Gran Akuma (1-1) vs. Jon Moxley (0-1) vs. Frightmare (0-0) vs. Rich Swann (0-0). Each brings something different to the contest, let’s take a look here:
Brad Allen: He has size and adept aerial skill. A win will put him into the upper echelon of the Leader Board.
Johnny Gargano: He is crafty and knows how to take advantage of situations in this kind of match. He needs to stop his losing streak.
Gran Akuma: Looking to establish himself as a player in EVOLVE. Look out for his kicks and top rope maneuvers.
Jon Moxley: A total wildcard. Moxley has been playing by the rules, but is still looking for his first win.
Frightmare: The 2009 Wrestling Observer Rookies Of The Year just won the CHIKARA Young Lions Cup. His unique form of aerial combat could establish him as a singles competitor in EVOLVE.
Rich Swann: He is one of the most athletic and exciting upcoming high-flyers going today. Swann is hungry to show what he can do.
Each of these six need the “W” and only one will get it.
