This episode is dedicated to a massive Junction Three vs. Blood Warriors series. Half of each stable first squares off in singles matches decided by a tug-of-war lottery. Then the rest (and higher profile) of the wrestlers fight in a 5-on-5 tag match in which the wrestler who loses the fall for their team is ejected from the stable.

Rich Swann {J3} vs. Naoki Tanisaki {BW} ended after Swann hit a handspring FIREBIRD and the regular FIREBIRD. That was an awesome finish.

In a match between the two kings of quick pins, KAGETORA {J3} vs. Genki Horiguchi {BW} ended when the Backslide from Hell proved too much for KAGETORA.

Ryo Saito {BW} vs. Super Shisa {J3} saw Shisa escape the Double Cross and Saito escape the Yoshi Tonic. Saito then hit a dragon suplex and the Double Cross for the win.

Susumu Yokosuka {J3} vs. Kzy {BW} & Tomahawk TT {BW} happened because there are more Blood Warriors than wrestlers in Junction Three. Yokosuka won with the Jumbo no Kachi and Mugen on Kzy.

Yasushi Kanda {BW} vs. Dragon Kid {J3}
I’m pretty surprised we’re seeing a less clipped version of any of the undercard matches. Kid hits a head scissor takedown. Kanda hits Kid with the Jon Woo off the apron and a suicide dive. He chokes Kid with a rope. Kid hits another head scissor takedown. Kanda goes for another Jon Woo but Kid blocks it. Kid hits a dropkick to the back. He hits the Diamond Dust for 2. Kanda ducks the 619. Kid dropkicks the blue box into his face. He puts on the Christo. Kanda hits a side slam to escape. The Blood Warriors gang up on Kid in the corner. Kanda hits the Jon Woo. He hits the flying elbowdrop for 2. Kid hits the Messiah for 2. Kanda blocks the Ultra Hurricanrana. Kzy hits a blue box attack. Kanda goes for the Ryus but Kid blocks it and and gets a sunset flip for 2. Kanda hits a German suplex. Kid hits the Bible for the win at 7:15 shown of 9:36, winning the series for his team. This was a nice little match, and meaningful enough way for Kid to avenge his King of Gate loss.
Rating: **¾

Kid began to celebrate the Junction Three win, but Horiguchi grabbed the microphone to remind everyone that Maraha Isappa is better than Junction Three. KAGETORA and Yokosuka took offense and demanded a match. Horiguchi calls them jimi, the Japanese equivalent of the old Vanilla Midget insult. They brawl and the match starts.

Genki Horiguchi {BW} & Ryo Saito {BW} vs. Susumu Yokosuka {J3} & KAGETORA {J3}
Horiguchi and Saito slug it out. Yokosuka hits a powerbomb. Saito hits the Fisherman Express. Yokosuka hits the exploder. Saito hits a German suplex. MARAHA! ISAPPA! Horiguchi hits the topé con hilo. He and Saito hit the assisted German suplex on KAGTORA. Saito hits the Superfly Splash for 2. Yokosuka hits hits Horiguchi with the DVD. He hits the Jumbo no Kachi. KAGETORA hits the gutwrench driver for 2. He hits the Ikkitousen for the win at 2:56. This was too fast and frantic to keep up with. I wish it had gotten more time.

Kong pretty much dug his own grave there, reminding YAMATO that he took his hair at the Gate of Destiny and giving him the rage to focus on getting revenge. Beyond all that, these guys did things I’ve never seen, and I wish I could watch the full 40-minute match. The final stretch was half of what was shown of the match, and it was all amazing. One of the best matches of the year, easily.
Rating: ****½

After the match Tozawa rips on Kong for tapping out. CIMA follows suit. YAMATO takes his shots as well. Kong demands a singles match with YAMATO to get revenge for the insult.
