November 11, 2011 – Tokyo, Japan

This match aired post-Final Gate 2011, and as such has a new intro that is made almost entirely of Blood Warriors wrestlers carrying their belts (they have all the belts). But this show takes place before Final Gate, and actually sort of exists outside of the Dragon Gate Universe, within a reality created by Masaaki Mochizuki.

Kenichiro Arai & Eita Kobayashi vs. Satoshi Kajiwara {KO} & Mitsuhiro Kitanomiya {KO}
I honestly never thought I’d see Kajiwara appear on Infinity, since he came up as Ultimo Dragon’s boy. I guess now that he’s solidly associated with Kensuke Sasaki’s outfit he’s fair game. Kobayashi and Kitanomiya start. They trade holds on the mat. Arai hits Kitanomiya with elbows. Kobayashi and Kajiwara trade chops. Kajiwara puts on the dragon sleeper. Arai makes the save. Kitanomiya charges Kobayashi. He hits a suplex and Kajiwara hits the Frog Splash for 2. He hits a moonsault for 2 when Arai makes the save. Kobayashi tries to zero in on the badly injured chest of Kitanomiya, and Arai takes him down with a headbutt to the wound. He hits a powerbomb for 2. He hits the Hanshin Tiger Suplex for the win at 11:00 shown of 15:35. Kobayashi’s selling was awesome. The rookies totally outshined their more experienced counterparts here. Kajiwara wasn’t really a factor in the match at all. Every time I see Kitanomiya he’s getting badly, badly beaten. This gives him some serious hope that Kobayashi might actually escape the black hole that is Dragon Gate’s dojo system. I’m happy they let so much of this get to air.

Masaaki Mochizuki {J3}, Susumu Yokosuka {J3} & Katsuhiko Nakajima {KO} vs. KAGETORA {J3}, Fujita Jr. Hayato {MP} & Taro Nohashi {MP}
Mochizuki’s team is wrestling under the Final M2K banner, complete with the jackets, Yokosuka in a singlet and Mochizuki his old pants. That’s fun. KAGETORA’s team is wrestling as Kowloon, which is less nostalgic because that’s currently happening in Michinoku pro. Still, Final M2K vs. Kowloon in Dragon Gate is something different. He hits the Sankakugeri for the win at 16:41 shown of 18:08. This was fun in spurts, but for the most part it didn’t really click. It also took forever to shift out of first gear.
