Less than a month ago @THEWRProject started tweeting about an expansion to the Wrestling Retribution Project Universe. We have found out one of those major announcements. It was announced that a Youtube based series called The Underground would be shot and apparently finished shooting in LA. We’ve got pictures and from what we can see we have The Young Bucks, MVP aka Lord of War and Joey Ryan aka Chase Walker. What we also know is that The Underground which takes place within the same universe as the WRP project, just a different part but also the second show will both be available free on youtube. It was also pointed out what it is all about by this quote from WRP, “THE UNDERGROUND is designed specifically for younger and lesser known wrestlers,” (via twitter). Check out the pics below:

Wrestling fans we are joined today by a very special guest. Hollywood Producer Jeff Katz who is not only known for Shoot Em Up & Jason vs Freddy but also the soon to debut Wrestling Retribution Project. He was gracious enough to join Senior Editor Jerome Cusson & Web admin Chris GST to talk up a number of subjects including lots of talk about the characters involved with the Wrestling Retribution Project. How he came up with them and how the wrestlers took to portraying characters not involved with their more known portrayals. Why he went with a thirteen episodic format rather than the regular open ended style of presentation. Plus we get some updates as to how the show will possibly be given to the public and what may happen in season 2. How he was interested in bringing in Japanese/Puro talent and shows his knowledge of puroresu. He also talks about WWE & TNA and their current style of story telling. Lots of fun stuff. We truly thank him for his time and hope to have him back on in the near future.
