Overall:  Hot Off the Griddle was the most hyped CHIKARA event of 2012 thus far and I also think that it was the best show up to this point in the year.  The show started with a hot opener featuring the Colony getting a big victory and ended with a terrific main event.  While the matches in between could have been better, there was some quality tag team action and the Kingston/Steen outing was pretty much what I expected.  Although the disqualification hurt the match, I’m hoping that they will be in the same ring once again in the near future.  Overall, I thought there were a lot of positives coming out of Hot Off the Griddle and this show earns a recommendation.
