Overall:  Day of Defiance was another solid outing from AAW, although I would call it the weakest show of the year thus far.  There’s certainly quality matches throughout the card; we’ve come to that expect from AAW.  However, this felt like a non-eventful show due to no significant storyline progression and a reserved crowd.  Day of Defiance earns a slight recommendation.  If you only buy the more talked-about independent wrestling shows, this is by no means a top priority.  On the other hand, if you’ve been following the promotion throughout 2012, this would be a fine addition to your collection as featured attractions like Josh Raymond, Christian Able, and Arik Cannon start picking up momentum with victories in worthwhile matches.
