Overall:  A Horse of Another Color was an excellent anniversary celebration for CHIKARA.  Not only did some old faces return for the event, but the match quality was consistently high as well.  Ophidian delivered an impressive performance in the opener, Mixed Martial Archie had an entertaining “MMA exhibition” against Darkness Crabtree, and all of the tag team action up and down the card came through.  The main event ended the show on a high note and provided some effective build for the Eddie Kingston/Jigsaw match tomorrow night.  Every match on the card received a wealth of time and the strength of the CHIKARA roster was on display.  A Horse of Another Color was the most fun I’ve had watching a CHIKARA show this year.  For a taste of the past, present, and future of the promotion, you cannot go wrong with this show and it earns a solid recommendation.
