NOTES FROM THE SHOW

*Prince Devitt had similar face and body paint on from his appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 8. He had a really good match with Dave Mastiff, who defeated him with a Bastard Bomb in the corner.

*Before Paul Robinson’s impromptu defence against the Mexican Eagle, it was announced that he will defend the title on February 22nd in Swanley against Damian O’Connor. Ashley Reed vs. Rob Lynch and Sakura Lily vs. Nikki Storm have also been announced for that show.

*Darrell Allen turned on his partner RJ Singh with a missile dropkick deliberately aimed at him, allowing the London Riots to take the Tag Team Titles. Afterwards, Allen said he still “loved” Singh, before attacking him again.

*Zack Sabre Jr. and Chris Hero had a technical British style match, featuring submission holds and escapes, before introducing hard kicks and strikes. After 20 minutes, Sabre Jr. submitted Hero with an armbar at the end of an excellent contest. Sabre Jr. and Hero shook hands after the match, and Hero put Sabre Jr. over on the mic, vowing he will return to IPW:UK in the future.

*IPW:UK returns to the Angel Centre in Tonbridge on April 27th, announcing a 30 man battle royal, with Grado announced as the first entrant.
