About three years ago, Pro Wrestling Ponderings was proud to fundraise for RAINN as a response to conversations surrounding rape and sexual assault. These conversations have only become louder and more impactful. Therefore in honor of women’s history month and as a response to the #MeToo movement coming to pro wrestling, we will spend the month of March fundraising on behalf of RAINN once again.

This time, we will not be doing a marathon podcast. Instead, co-founder and former editor Jerome Cusson will come out of retirement and reunite with Ryan Rozanski for a weekend of podcasts coninciding with Wrestlemania weekend, which is traditionally one of the biggest weekends for pro wrestling in the calender year. Here’s how it works:

For every 100 dollars raised, Jerome and Ryan will review one Wrestlemania weekend show. This means, if 100 dollars is raised, expect a podcast episode discussing Wrestlemania. After that. Jerome and Ryan will determine the shows based on the amount of money raised. In addition, if 500 dollars is raised by March 31, Jerome and Ryan will record a 2-3 hour podcast one week after Wrestlemania discussing the whole weekend. They will make every effort to have on some really guests (TBD).

There is an important caveat. No shows featuring Michael Elgin or Rich Swann will be reviewed.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Current figures suggest that 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will become a victim of sexual assault in his or her lifetime.

Sexual violence is a cause worth fighting for, and RAINN is an organization worth believing in. RAINN has helped more than 2 million survivors through the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) and they work every day to shine light on the issue, and to ensure justice for survivors.

With your help, however big or small, we will make an impact. Just $10, the price of one lunch, will help one survivor to take the first step toward reclaiming his or her life.

Please support me today and together, we can make a difference. 92¢ of every dollar will go directly to RAINN’s programs to help survivors, educate the public and improve sexual assault laws and policies.

Thank you for your support!
