Every once in a while, CWF goes outside the sportatorium . In my opinion, there’s something special about the sportatorium. The Sportatorium has a magical air about it unlike any other venue. Consequentially, CWF  somewhat loses that special quality whenever they wrestle outside their beloved home.

You’re probably wondering why CWF makes these “road trips” so to speak. That reason goes by the name Snooty Foxx. Snooty Foxx is a regular member of the CWF roster. What sets Snooty apart is the fact that he’s from Chapel Hill. I don’t think I could get across just how adored Snooty is by the Chapel Hill fans.

He’s practically a superhero to these people. I honestly would not be surprised if one of his nicknames was Captain Chapel Hill. Snooty is a huge draw, so, any sound business would have Snooty main event in Chapel Hill. However, there’s just one decent-sized problem, which I will address later.

Tonight, we start off with Ethan Sharpe and Cain Justice battling Nick Richards and Michael McAllister. This was a solid tag match, I just thought it was a little too comedy heavy for my taste. With that being said, I still enjoyed the match. Chapel Hill is a bit more kiddier than the usual CWF crowd. I can’t blame them for playing to the crowd.

The next match served as a showcase for Aric Andrews. I don’t think his opponent , KL3 , got in any offense. Honestly, that’s the way it should have gone. Andrews is the Golden Ticket holder, he can cash it in for any match, any stipulation he chooses. If he’s going after one of the two top singles titles, he needs to look strong and dangerous. Mission accomplished.

Snooty Foxx and Arik Royal go at it in a Street Fight in this week’s main event. Truthfully told, I believe this match will create mixed feelings. Some people will appreciate the pure emotion that the crowd brings. Others might dislike the match because the action was honestly rough to watch at times.

I fall in the latter group in this instance. That’s by no means a jab at Arik Royal. Arik is in my top 2 of CWF. He and Nick Richards had my favorite CWF match of all time back in August 2016. Snooty just isn’t quite there yet. Snooty does have potential, he’s just in a weird spot.

Snooty has insane draw power. This draw power kinda forces him to be Chapel Hill’s main event. Fans probably wouldn’t come if he was the opener. Being in that main event puts him against guys he’s not quite ready for.

I really don’t want to be the guy criticizing without any solution . I have given this some thought, and I do have a solution in mind.

I think Chapel Hill should be reserved for the RGL shows with the Heavyweight champ defending on occasion. Snooty could draw huge, but more importantly, he could grow and wrestle at his own speed. Moving RGL to Chapel Hill would also give the Rising Generation League more attention, especially if Snooty is the kingpin of the RGL. I could be crazy, but I don’t see a downside.
