Match #1: JKI Quarterfinals #1
Rory Gulak vs. Travis Huckabee (1 point)

As if to signal his change in attitude, Huckabee came into this match with his head shaved. Word is that Gulak may have injured his arm during this match. Huckabee made Gulak tap out to a cobra clutch-style submission. Post-match, Gulak asked for a handshake, but Huckabee kicked his hand away.

WINNER: Travis Huckabee (2 points)

Match #2: JKI Quarterfinals #2
Jigsaw (2 points) vs. Thomas Santell

The shocking upset of the event saw Santell, who was not predicted to leave the first round, actually make Jigsaw tap out to an abdominal stretch, completely wrecking everyone’s Pick ‘Ems in the process. Including mine. *shakes fist* This was said to be a really good, close-fought match.

WINNER: Thomas Santell (1 point), Jigsaw is out of the standings

Match #3: JKI Quarterfinals #3
Ophidian (2 points) vs. Solo Darling (1 point)

Another close-fought contest with a lot of back and forth action, which saw both competitors try to go for the early submission. Very smart strategy for both there. Ophidian finally scored the win with a backslide into a bridge.

WINNER: Ophidian (3 points), Solo Darling is out of the standings

Match #4: JKI Quarterfinals #4
Colt Cabana vs. Green Ant

Crowd went nuts for Colt, even giving him a “Not Guilty” chant. Green fought his hardest, but once again wasn’t able to secure the win, as Colt pinned him and advanced into the semis. Hopefully it was a learning experience for him, and he’ll continue to grow.

WINNER: Colt Cabana (1 point)

Lucas Calhoun is out with a mic. He talks about unity and being a clone fighting monsters created by science. He’s one iteration of the Volgar quotient, while Jeremy Leary is another and the current Volgar is still a third…and there’s about 76 or so more Volgars out there in some way or another. And he’s going to find them and unite them to take the Proteus Wheel down for good. After asking the fans if they’re with him and Leary, he leaves. Well, we know there’s at least one possibly dead Volgar from MAM’s journal. Good luck finding the rest, though!

Match #5: Atomico Ridiculo
Thief Ant, Sonny DeFarge, Danjerhawk, and El Hijo del Ice Cream vs. The Whisper, Frantik, Hermit Crab, and Still Life with Apricots & Pears

People flying everywhere, lot of brawling, finally brought to a close when Thief pinned Whisper.

WINNERS: Thief/DeFarge/Danjer/Hijo

INTERMISSION

Match #6: JKI Semifinals #1
Colt Cabana (1 point) vs. Ophidian (3 points)

Another well-fought contest that started with a handshake and ended with Colt pinning Ophidian to advance. At one point Ophidian was doing a head stand on the top turnbuckle & using some snake style wth his legs as he was upside-down. Colt Cabana reacted to this the only way he knew how, which was to sit down Indian style, opposite the king of snake style & begin to play a recorder as if to charm the snake back into the wrestling match.

WINNER: Colt Cabana (2 points), Ophidian is out of the standings

Match #7: JKI Semifinals #2
Travis Huckabee (2 points) vs. Thomas Santell (1 point)

Santell got straight-up murdered by Huckabee, who pinned him in under a minute. “Please come back” chants for Santell regardless.

WINNER: Travis Huckabee (3 points), Thomas Santell is out of the standings

Match #8: Tag Contest
Frightmare and Hallowicked w/Kobald vs. the Beast Warriors (2 points)

And of course, Kobald tried to interfere, but the intervention of Hype Rockwell, of all people, prevented that. Boar Gored Frightmare and went for the pin, only for the ref to say that Frightmare wasn’t the legal man…what? In the confusion, Hallowicked ran in and pinned Boar. People were very confused. What really was the point of all that? Anyways, the Warriors chokes-lammed Hallowicked and Frightmare after the match, and Hype once again nabbed Kobald, preventing him from helping his fellow Legion of Rot members with a Hyper Wheel, leaving what just might be our next announced KOT Trio standing tall.

WINNERS: Hallowicked and Frightmare (1 point), the Beast Warriors are out of the standings

Match #9: Singles Contest
Cornelius Crummels vs. Volgar (1 point)

Crummels got destroyed. Even The Worst of Times couldn’t make Volgar budge. A reversal into two powerbombs and a Samoan Drop got Volgar the win.

WINNER: Volgar (2 points)

Match #10: MAIN EVENT, JKI Finals
Travis Huckabee (3 points) vs. Colt Cabana (2 points)

A very strong final, one that saw Huckabee take everything Colt could throw at him and make it very clear that he could not be stopped. The Golden Grip secured Huckabee the tournament win. Post-match, he shoved Colt out of the ring.

WINNER: Travis Huckabee (4 points), Colt Cabana is out of the standings
