Saturday Night, August 4th, 2018

Write up by Zack Monday

An emotional night of remembrance and celebration for one of Nor Cal Independent Wrestling’s favorite sons. 100% of the proceeds from the show and concessions went to the Flynn family, the talent on the show waived their pay-outs to further benefit the family.

AJ Kirsch leads the locker room into the ring, and out of the ring, as the stage filled with working and non-working talent, all there to join in on the love and celebration of Virgil Flynn III. 10 bell salute!

Nehemiah “Nuk-Nuk” Johnson, Referee and one bad mother… SHUT YO MOUTH, came out with the Virgil Flynn III Crown and took the mic. He told a touching story to tribute his friendship with Virgil and announced the Crown to be a Championship in VF3.

This was a great main event and a wonderful tribute to Virgil and DJ Rizz, The Commandoes fallen comrade and another loved member of the Northern California Independent Wrestling scene. This match was good, but a Commandoes vs SCUM showdown would be an absolute treat to fans of wrestling.
Winners: Commandoes after using The Rizz Bomb on Carlos to get the 3.

Touching moment to close the show, as Virgil’s wife and kids get into the ring, they are celebrated and showered with the love and support of the crowd and the locker room.

This was a great night, a loving community that opened it’s arms up and took in those that are hurting. Squeezing them with compassion and care, helping us all heal a little.

REST IN PEACE VIRGIL, you will never be forgotten. ONE LOVE
