Antonio Cueto is on the phone, and says he has another sacrifice planned for tonight. Mariposa walks in, and starts complementing Antonio. Mariposa wants a Gift of the Gods title match, but Antonio says she doesn’t deserve it. Mariposa hands Antonio some money, and he can’t say no.
Matt Striker and Vampiro welcome us to the show. They talk about the huge Atomicos match tonight, and the stipulation of Mundo joining the Reptile Tribe, or Mundo having a wish granted. Vampiro sends us to Melissa for some action!
Sacrifice to the Gods: Mala Suerte w/Rabbit Tribe vs. Matanza Cueto
Yet another sacrifice, this one started with Mala Suerte beating down Matanza at ringside, only for him to get destroyed in the ring. With this whole “White Rabbit” gimmick going, why are we losing Rabbit Tribe members left and right? Paul London was happy with it though… So there’s something going on.

Joey Ryan and Jack Evans vs. XO Lishus and Ivelisse
This was a fine little tag match, and only in Lucha Underground could you get combinations like this. It was purely here to keep the Evans/XO feud going, which hasn’t been visited in a few weeks. They got a good amount of time to work, it was fun at times, but in the end Jack made XO pass out. XO never tapped, so there’s always that to keep the feud going. Good action here, nothing great.

Gift of the Gods Championship: El Dragon Azteca Jr. (c) vs. Mariposa
While they didn’t have much time to work, this was a really good match, with some great nearfalls. I’m not sure if it was heavily edited, or just this short, but they only got like 3 minutes. Mariposa’s loss could lead to Marty getting into the mix, since it would be the perfect way to make him a contender for Pentagon. Good sprint here, even though it probably would’ve been better on next week’s show with some more time.
Winner: El Dragon Azteca Jr.

Kobra Moon says she respected what Johnny did to Vibora last week, and it makes her want him in The Reptile Tribe even more. Kobra has brought Jeremiah Crane back from the dead, as Jeremiah SNAKE! Johnny comes out and says Ricky Mundo isn’t ready to be in a match like this, so they bring in Aerostar!
The Reptile Tribe and Jeremiah Snake vs. Worldwide Underground and Aerostar
This was a fun Atomicos match, full of action, and the crowd loved it. There weren’t any great near falls to make you believe The Reptile Tribe would win, however it didn’t take away from the match, as it was still great. The feud may end here, or maybe it only gets greater. Tons of good dives, strikes, and exchanges. As expected, this one delivered.
Winners: The Worldwide Underground and Aerostar

After the match, Johnny wishes that DRAGO WILL BE SET FREE! Drago and Aerostar are now reuinted, and it wouldn’t be any better… Johnny Mundo decides to propose to Taya! Gotta love The Macho Man music in the background, good impersonation Mr. Mundo.
Ricky Mundo sits in the back, talking to his doll, and says that Johnny and Taya are together until death do them part. OH BOY, MORE DEATH!
Final Thoughts:
This was a pretty good show this week, as we got another Sacrifice, an interesting tag to continue Evans/XO, a good Gift of the Gods defense for Dragon Azteca, and a great main event, with some fun moments afterwards. Johnny Mundo is finally a babyface, and this should be great moving forward. Speaking of great, Drago and Aerostar are back together! That should lead to some great things moving forward, but where does the Reptile Tribe go from here? No Pentagon or Trios Champions on this show, but when there’s other title matches and fun moments, they aren’t always needed. Good stuff this week, another easy hour to sit through.
