Hello, my fellow Worldwide fans! It’s time for your weekly dose of Mid Atlantic Miller! This past weekend, I was at SCI. It was a really fantastic weekend. I got to meet a lot of great people and see some awesome wrestling action. Shoutout to all my CWF and ACTION Wrestling guys. Cain, Darius, Joey, Ike, AC, y’all put in some amazing performances!

Now that I got that out of the way, I’d like to talk about this past week’s Worldwide episode. This was another very well rounded episode. The action was very diverse and there was something for everyone. Much like the previous episode, we got a good combination of storyline continuations and new storylines.

The episode starts off with a bang. Two of the most entertaining wrestlers battle, as Kool Jay fights Arik Royal. Due to the huge size difference, the match tells a story very similar to Kool Jay’s match with Donnie Dollars. However, Arik has a much different personality than Donnie.

Both are freakishly strong and aren’t afraid to bully smaller opponents around. The difference is Donnie is much more quiet. Arik absolutely loves to talk smack. Whether he’s beating up his opponent or jawing with the crowd, he’ll take advantage of any opportunity to trash talk!

To my knowledge, Kool Jay hasn’t wrestled anyone as skilled at mind games as Arik. Going into this match, I wondered if the mind games would mess with Kool Jay’s head and make his performance suffer.

My concers were put to rest and Kool Jay held his own. The mind games started almost immediately with an All Star huddle. Instead of rushing in and getting angry, Kool Jay responded with a taunt of his own in the form of an invisible lasso. Royal would continue to disrespect Kool Jay, even making a savage short joke. Kool Jay finally had enough of the chatter and started chopping down his much larger opponent with leg kicks.

To me, the first few minutes perfectly represent what this match is about. Arik tries to get inside the head of his much less experienced opponent. To my surprise, Kool Jay wasn’t afraid to reciprocate with the mind games. At the same time, he took the fight to Arik. One of my favorite moments was when he bounced off Royal when he attempted a crossbody and Arik responded by laughing!

Using the size difference for humor also came into play when Kool Jay hit a over the top rope dive ala Roman Reigns. He landed the dive clean but he couldn’t capitalize. He’d muster up all his strength to get Arik back in the ring, but he just wouldn’t budge. It was rather amusing!

I don’t want to give y’all the impression that Kool Jay was completely outmatched here, he wasn’t. As a matter of fact, he put up a pretty darn good fight against one of the best in the country. Unfortunately, the numbers game just isn’t a very fair opponent. For nearly 20 minutes, the little dog with the big heart went toe to toe with the Ace. In the end, after fighting off the All Stars, he got caught by a schoolboy with tights.

Last week, I talked about Donnie Dollars being a guy with all the tools, he just hasn’t quite figured out who he is yet. He hasn’t found that persona that just clicks and puts everything together. All of that changed during this episode. Ladies and Gentlemen, this right here is the debut of Donnie BitDon.

Donnie decided to put a new spin on his name and go from Donnie Dollars to Donnie BitDon. This conversion to crypto currency symbolizes the changing of times. The idea behind BitDon is for Donnie to supply his investors with whatever service they desire. Whether you’re looking for a bodyguard, tag team wrestler, or some muscle for your stable, Donnie is your guy. You can learn more at InvestInBitDon.com.

It appears that Otto Schwanz is Donnie’s first investor. Donnie and Otto actually have a lot in common. In addition to being big men, both are highly decorated veterans. Otto Schwanz is another guy, who like Donnie, tends to get underestimated. Two huge men with something to prove is rather scary. The fact that they’re now united makes it that much worse. Keith Mac and Willy D had the unfortunate task of being their opponents. The big men unleashed the wrath of BitDon and came away with a dominant victory.

Up next, we have Ultra J action as current champ Cam Carter defends against former champ Chet Sterling. Last week, Cam won the title against Andrew Everett. That match was a very aerial, almost tit for tat contest. Cam and Chet had a very similar, but different match. I know I just contradicted myself, so please allow me to explain.

Much like last week, this had an anything you can do I can do better type of feel to it. The key difference lies in the moves performed. This match was much more strike based, a more traditional wrestling match, if you will. The only time the action truly went to the air was the ending sequence. Cam hit nothing but canvas on a mid rope 450 and Chet went to the top to capitalize with a blockbuster.

Right before he could pull the trigger, the 1 Star Brad Attitude returned! He claimed that people had told him that Chet wants a match with him. Brad Attitude says that since he has already bested Chet twice, he’s not interested. That is, unless Chet sweetens the pot by risking his guaranteed title shot that he earned by winning last year’s Weaver Cup. Before Chet could reply, Cam surprised him with an avalanche frankensteiner for the W!

For our main event, Hurricane Helms defended his Television Title against Aric Andrews. One thing I noticed was that when the lovely CL Party did introductions, Andrews made a point to interrupt her and make sure that she referred to him as the greatest Television Champion of all time. Say what you will about Andrews, but he does have the record for longest TV Title reign. So, he does sort of have a point.

The Television Title is incredibly important to Andrews. For most of his career, he’s been a tag team wrestler. It began when he teamed with Evan Banks as The Killbillies. He eventually moved onto The Riot with Lee Valiant, Nick Richards, and The Dawsons. In The Riot, he was essentially Lee’s right hand man.

Andrews never really got the chance to create an individual identity for himself. That is, until he won the TV Title. He went on to have a fantastic, record breaking reign. When he eventually lost the belt, it was also like he lost a part of himself. He was bound and determined to get his championship and identity back! Would he succeed? Watch this and find out!
