Progress Wrestling says hello to its largest show ever, in the historic Wembley Arena! Get ready for the historic Progress Wembley show with a preview of every match!

No Disqualification Match: Jimmy Havoc vs. Paul Robinson

A match rooted in Progress history, former Regression stablemates Havoc and Robinson will attempt to flood Wembley in each other’s blood. At Chapter 75, Havoc took on career rival Will Ospreay with a Progress World Title match on the line for Havoc. Robinson was chosen as the referee because of his ability to keep both men under control. But after going through a table, Robinson screwed Havoc out of the match and his Wembley title shot. It was Robinson who put Havoc out of Progress for a year the last time they fought. Can Robbo finish the job he started, or can the King of the Goths exorcise this demon from his past?

Pete Dunne vs. Ilja Dragunov

Two of the top stars in European wrestling meet for the first time ever, as WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne takes on former wXw Unified World Champion Ilja Dragunov. wXw promoter Christian Michael Jakobi called out Dunne for this match at Super Strong Style weekend in May. Since then, both Jakobi and Dragunov have punked out Dunne at every turn. Who will stand tall in this battle of European superpowers?

Mark Haskins vs. Matt Riddle

In his final independent wrestling appearance, former Atlas Champion Matt Riddle takes on a pillar of Progress history in Mark Haskins. Riddle will be motivated to end this chapter of his career with a big win. But Haskins shines the brightest on the biggest stages, winning the Progress Title at the Brixton and beating Jimmy Havoc in a deathmatch in Alexandra Palace. Can Riddle ride off to Orlando with a win, or can Haskins shine again with the lights on bright?

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for a Progress World Title Shot: Eddie Dennis vs. Mark Andrews

A match nearly a year in the making, with its roots deep in Progress history. At the Alexandra Palace show last year, Andrews won a Progress World Title match in an eight-man scramble that included Dennis. After that match, Dennis turned on his long-time tag partner and claimed it was only because of the title match. But after some time, Dennis revealed that his anger ran much deeper than that. Mark didn’t put Eddie in the second Natural Progression Series tournament all the way back in 2013. Mark signed with TNA and left him alone for most of 2015. Mark got a big WWE UK contract. All those opportunities fell to Mark, while Eddie was left to smile and wave. The scramble was the tip of the iceberg, but the iceberg was bigger than anyone realized.

For most of the past year, Andrews kept radio silent about the situation. He hoped that Eddie would get his anger out, and that they would be able to move past this. However, Dennis continued to escalate matters. He went to a Junior concert (Mark’s band) over Super Strong Style weekend, and attacked the tour manager. Mark finally agreed to fight Eddie when he healed from his torn pectoral. Eddie healed up, setting the stage for this TLC match. A year of conflict comes to a head at Wembley Arena, with a World Title match hanging in the balance. Can Andrews finally end the nightmare, or will Dennis prove he was better all along?

PROGRESS Women’s Championship: Toni Storm vs. Millie McKenzie vs. Jinny (w/ The House of Couture) (c)

Both Toni Storm and Millie McKenzie earned title shots in the preceding chapter shows, and are both cashing them in at Wembley. Storm was the first Women’s Champion, holding the title for nearly a year before losing it to Jinny in May. She has every intention of getting her gold back. McKenzie has been screwed out of the gold before by the House of Couture, but she doesn’t plan on giving up the chase. Can Jinny survive her biggest challenge to date?

Thunderbastard Gauntlet Match for the PROGRESS Tag Team Championship: Flamita & Bandido (c) defend against (in order) Sexy Starr, Mills & Mayhew, Aussie Open, The Anti-Fun Police, Grizzled Young Veterans, Chris Brookes & Timothy Thatcher, and The 198

Two teams will start, and after two minutes, another team will enter until all eight teams have entered. The last team standing walks out with the titles. Since May, the tag teams of Progress have been battling in a tag league to earn better positioning in this gauntlet style encounter. There have been injuries (RIP for now Kid Lykos), and there have been betrayals (poor Mark Haskins). Most importantly, the lucha team of Flamita and Bandido won the titles on the US tour. They will enter the match first against Sexy Starr. Can Team Mexiblood survive the gauntlet? Can the Grizzled Young Veterans regain the titles? Which team can call themselves the winners of the first ever Tag Team Thunderbastard?

PROGRESS ATLAS Championship: Trent Seven vs. Doug Williams (c)

Doug Williams had been in a rut since returning to Progress earlier this year. That was until he won the vacated Atlas Championship in Manchester in May. That night, he said that the day he lost the title would be his final day as a wrestler. After two successful defenses, Trent Seven made a challenge to Williams to take the title and put out his dying flame. Can Doug fight for another day, or will Trent put his career to rest?

PROGRESS World Championship: Tyler Bate vs. WALTER (c)

The challenger for the Progress World Title on this show was meant to be Zack Sabre Jr., the winner of this year’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament. However, Sabre had to pull out of this show due to a New Japan commitment on the same day. This opened up the opportunity to main event Wembley to the rest of the roster. Whoever could win three matches in a row in the run-up to Wembley would earn the right to challenge WALTER for the title. The only man able to run the gauntlet was Tyler Bate. Is the “big strong boi” strong enough to wrest the title from WALTER, or will the ring general stand tall as champion once again?

Tickets for the show are still available through AXS TICKETS.
