Tony Patrico is out to promote his show, and then announces that Glory Pro has hired a new talent coordinator, that being Road Warrior Animal! He announces that on the January 6th show, they’re bringing in Bandido!

Myron Reed says he and Wolf are looking to make this the best tag division there is, therefore they’re putting the titles on the line for this match!

United Glory Championships: Myron Reed and Stephen Wolf (c) vs. The Riegel Twins

This was a very fun match, and exactly what you’d want to kick off the show. The Riegel Twins have been working very hard since they’re debut, and this proved that. Putting the titles on the line meant Reed and Wolf were definitely going to win, but they did a good job of giving The Riegel Twins some good near falls, and they proved they could hang with the champions. Great stuff to kick off the show, it wasn’t too short, and didn’t go too long.

Winners: Myron Reed and Stephen Wolf

Match Rating: ***1/2

Barackus vs. Billy Hills

This was my first time seeing Billy Hills, and he looked great in this HOSS fight. Barackus is coming off a squash at Horsepower, but this was an extended match, and let both men show what they have in the tank. Billy Hills was pretty over, and while this wasn’t the most smooth match, he showed some potential, and I wouldn’t mind seeing him in a Glory Pro ring again. Commentary went absolutely crazy when Barackus went up top and hit the huge frog splash to get the win, and ever since he split from Stallion, Barackus has been racking up wins left and right, making his claim to be the next challenger for the Crown of Glory.

Winner: Barackus

Match Rating: **1/2

Jake Lander and Tootie vs. Paco and Savanna Stone

I didn’t expect a ton, but this was an extremely fun match, filled with great interactions, and a dive off the balcony. Jake Lander and Tootie are both a work in progress, but Tootie is very over and shows potential, while Lander looked good here as well. This was a fine match to get Paco on the card, but Savanna Stone made the most of the opportunity, and hit a huge cross body off the balcony, which is something I totally didn’t expect from here. The winners were never in doubt, but this was a ton of fun.

Winners: Paco and Savanna Stone

Match Rating: ***1/4

The Boys From Jollyville vs. Alpha Omega vs. The Gym Nasty Boyz

This one ended up being a tornado tag, which I’m completely fine with, because it was short, but all action, filled with a ton of moving parts. Alpha Omega made their Glory Pro debut (on the main show), and were pretty limited, but looked pretty solid. The Gym Nasty Boyz had a very unique attire, and were a lot of fun, but each time The Boys From Jollyville compete, I always have to praise T-Money. This dude has such a great pounce, he’s a ton of fun, can fly, and I’d love for him to get a singles run. Anyways, the closing stretch saw a few missed dives from the top rope, and ultimately The Gym Nasty Boyz picked up the win, in a fun, but short match.

Winners: The Gym Nasty Boyz

Street Fight: Markus Crane vs. Mickey Mcfinnegan

Both men are making their Glory Pro debuts, and they didn’t disappoint. This was different from everything else on the show, and Glory Pro typically doesn’t have gimmick matches, so this was great to see. Mickey got the crowd into it, and was solid in the ring, but Markus Crane is on a different level. They did some cool things, mostly just using chairs and brawling on the outside, but this was a good street fight, but not on the level of PCO/KLD from Horsepower. The finish was crazy, but outside of that there weren’t a ton of standout moments.

Winner: Markus Crane

Match Rating: ***1/4

Airwolf vs. DJZ

These two got the time to work, but I there wasn’t anything too great in this match, it just felt like something was missing. The crowd was probably still getting back to their seats from intermission, and these two didn’t do anything amazing to get everyone invested back into the show. Airwolf continues to be solid, and way better than what he showed in March at the Gateway to Glory tournament. This was DJZ’s first match since losing the tag titles, and he proved how good of a singles competitor he can be, getting the win off a big DDT, but the finish was pretty flat. Solid match here, just missing somethings to make it better.

Winner: DJZ

Match Rating: **3/4

Kody Rice vs. Edvin Kudic vs. Chase Holliday vs. AJ Gray

Putting these four together could either be awesome, or a total mess, but it ended up being in the middle, just an average match, not a ton to it. Kody Rice is a fun big man, Edvin Kudic doesn’t have much to him, Chase Holliday got the crowd involved, and AJ Gray again proved that he’s really talented. Similar to the last match, there wasn’t a lot here to keep you invested, but there were some fun spots, and this was far from bad. AJ Gray gets another huge win, while everyone else played their roles well.

Winner: AJ Gray

Match Rating: **3/4

Bullrope MatchMarko Stunt vs. Curt Stallion

As expected, this was a really good match, with a simple, yet effective story. Marko Stunt is the little underdog, who everyone loves, and he’s going up against the bully champion. After Horsepower, Marko challenged Stallion to a match at Unsanctioned, which Stallion agreed to, except the title wouldn’t be on the line, and this would be a bullrope match. Everything worked here, and these two went out there and put on the match of the night. Stallion has been such a great champion, and he never disappoints. The finish was abrupt, but I liked it, because Marko seemed to be closing in on the win, but one headbutt from Stallion is all it took to put him away. Great stuff.

Winner: Curt Stallion

Match Rating: ***1/2

#NNF vs. nWo

Our big main event, which wasn’t a disappointment, rather exactly what I expected. The nWo was limited in the ring, but they kept it safe, played the hits, and got out of there. It was a 10 minute match, and while it could’ve gone longer and had more drama down the stretch, it was cool seeing most of the fans turn on #NNF to cheer on X-Pac, Norton, and Bagwell. If you wanted an insane six man tag, this isn’t for you, but if you expected a fun, play the hits type of legends match, then you’ll definitely enjoy this.

Winners: nWo

Match Rating: ***

Final Thoughts:

Glory Pro went uncensored and unsanctioned, and this was the result. While there was nothing insane on this show, the tag title opener and bullrope match were very good, and the main event is something we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. As for the new faces on the show, Billy Hills looked good, Alpha Omega are beginning to find themselves, and Tootie got to shine yet again. DJZ/Airwolf and the four way after were pretty weak, but far from bad. This was another super easy show to sit through, clocking in at 2 hours and 11 minutes. Glory Pro never has bad matches, and they’re extremely consistent, and this show continues to prove that. Sadly this wasn’t on the level of Horsepower two weeks ago, or even Only the Strong Survive, but it was still a fun watch.

Final Rating: 6.3/10
