Beyond Wrestling’s “Uncharted Territory” Episode 5 live from the Electric Haze in Worcester, Massachusetts took place on May 1st. Your commentary team are Paul Crockett and Josh Briggs. Your ring announcer is Rich Palladino.

Opening contest with Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Barreta) vs. LAX (Santana and Ortiz). Best Friends make their return to Beyond Wrestling for the first time in 4 years.

LAX gain the early advantage, which makes Trent and Chuckie T have to regroup. Chuckie T causes a distraction which allows Best Friends to control the match. Best Friends do a great job at cutting off the ring and not allowing Ortiz to tag in his partner. At one point Ortiz goes for the tag but Santana is pulled off the apron. Ortiz finally finds the opening and tags in Santana. LAX can’t keep the momentum going for too long as Best Friends hit a trio of signature double team moves on both Santana and Ortiz. Best Friends are unable to keep Santana down for a three count. Trent takes out Ortiz with a nasty piledriver on the ring apron. Best Friends look to finish the match but Ortiz gets back in the match and they double team Trent to pick up the victory. Great opening match.

Cam Zagami is backstage interviewing Thomas Santell, LD Mantis Montesanti’s opponent in the Discovery Gauntlet Match. Santell says even though he’s new to Beyond, he has 19 years of experience. LD Mantis Montesanti is returning after defeating Mick Moretti in the previous episode, Episode 4. Santell’s glasses fall off and as he pretends to not be able to see he hits Mantis with a cheap shot. Later Mantis takes a risk from the top rope and pays for it as Santell knocks him off and he lands on the apron. He starts to work the lower back by ramming him into the apron and locking a bearhug in the middle of the ring. Santell controls most of the match until Mantis comes back with a falcon arrow off the second rope. The momentum doesn’t continue as Santell later puts away Mantis with a STF type submission forcing Mantis to tap.

The four women representing Women’s Wrestling Revolution at the Lethal Lottery event square off against eachother. The action starts off quick and the match maintains a fast pace with neither woman able to gain the momentum for too long. Penelope Ford starts cleaning house with handspring cutters on Veda Scott and Ashley Vox. Solo Darling takes over and locks the Sharp Stinger on Vox, forcing her to tap out.

Randy Summers and Brandon Watts make their way to the ring. They get on the mic and are met with boos from the Worcester crowd. Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson make their entrance and as they enter the ring Milk Chocolate kick the middle rope causing low blows to both members of Bear Country. Bear Country come back but Boulder misses a moonsault off the middle rope. Milk Chocolate take advantage and single out Bronson. A number of superkicks can’t keep down Bronson. Boulder comes back in and hits a double powerslam. An electric chair splash puts Milk Chocolate away.

Chuck O’Neill comes out and brings the fight to Bear Country and runs them off. He grabs the mic and says he wants to get rid of the trash and make Beyond Wrestling legit again.

The holder of the Treasure Hunt medallion Kris Statlander is facing off against the Whisper. Both athletes begin the match with a number of pins but only getting near falls. The Whisper goes after Statlander’s back. Statlander attempts a powerbomb but her back gives out. She’s still able to follow up with an axe kick but The Whisper kicks out at two. A move that has put away many of her opponents in the past. Statlander is able to put him away later with a reverse rana and a wicked tombstone piledriver.

Cam Zagami is in the middle of the ring.

The main event of the evening is the newly formed team of Joey Janela and Chris Dickinson known as SLITHER, taking on Jon Silver and Alex Reynolds, the Beaver Boys. The Beaver Boys are going into the match with the experience advantage.

Dickinson and Janela control the match early until Silver hits a nasty lawn dart to Janela, sending him face first into the middle turnbuckle. Janela later gets the tag to Dickinson but Dickinson’s momentum is quickly stopped by some teamwork from the Beaver Boys. Janela comes in and cleans house. A package piledriver and piledriver combo on Reynolds is unable to put the Beaver Boys away. Dickinson attempts a pazuzu bomb but Silver superkicks the ref. Reynolds is able to roll Dickinson up for the pin but there’s no referee to make the count. Crowd chants “you fucked up.” Silver tries to hit Dickinson with his CZW Championship but Penelope Ford snatches it and runs to the back. Silver chases after her, leaving his partner all alone. This allows SLITHER to take advantage and hit an assisted german suplex for the win.

Silver returns to the ring where he is shoved by Reynolds. They exit the ring. While SLITHER are celebrating Penelope Ford throws both of them over the top rope. She grabs the mic and says she’s gonna dump everyone over the top rope at Lethal Lottery and punch her ticket to Americanrana ’19.
