It was announced on Monday night that Jon Moxley would miss NJPW G1 Climax 29 Press Conference and Opening Day in Dallas. Moxley had not been advertised despite being a part of the G1.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, AEW kept Moxley from working the Dallas show as they have control over his US dates. he can still work small indies and NJPW in Japan.
Meltzer continued to report that AEW talent will not be appearing on any NJPW shows in the US until a partnership is reached.
