After Page lost to Jericho in a match to crown the inaugural AEW World Champion he spoke to the media during a scrum where he discussed the loss:
“I’m disappointed. It was the biggest night of my life and that’s it. I don’t know [what my plans are next]. I hadn’t thought of what it would be like if I hadn’t won,” Page said.
PAC would come out to interrupt Page and tell him that the two of them have some unfinished business.
“I’ll be honest with you. It broke my little heart to see you lose tonight. But unfortunately for yourself, you and myself have some unfinished business. So let me tell you the reason I returned to AEW: revenge,” PAC said.
