This past Saturday, Nick Gage competed in the Nick Gage Invitational Tournament, a death match tournament named after the king himself. He successfully defended his GCW World Championship throughout the tournament, first in a triple threat match against Matthew Justice and Kody Rice, and then in the finals against Alex Colon, Mance Warner and Yuko Miyamoto. Following his victory, Gage was attacked by a masked man, who turned out to be no other than former CZW World Champion, Rickey Shane Page. RSP spray painted the title, then left the Summit Park District Building with Gage’s GCW Championship.

RSP then posted a video on his Twitter page claiming that he’s the best death match wrestler in the world. Page stated that he’s having matches all across the globe, while Gage can’t even cross borders. He’s gonna take the GCW Championship and defend it across the world, something Gage can’t do. He ends it by saying “Come get your f***ing belt, convict.”

The following day Page made his scheduled appearance for Alpha-1 Wrestling, a promotion based out of Canada. With the GCW Title in one hand and a microphone in the other, he challenged Killer Kross to a match at Alpha-1’s Final Act X. He stated that Kross was deserving of a title match, having recently defeating Nick Gage in quick fashion at GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 2.

Kross responded to the challenged laid out by Page and it was made official by Alpha-1. At Alpha-1’s biggest show of the year, it will be Killer Kross squaring off against Rickey Shane Page for the GCW World Championship. Alpha-1 Wrestling’s Final Act X will take place on November 17th in Ontario, Canada.

GCW responded to RSP’s recent actions. You have to expect that Nick Gage will be coming for his Championship.
