Beyond Wrestling’s “Uncharted Territory” Season 2 Episode 7 live from the White Eagle in Worcester, Massachusetts took place on November 14th. Your commentary team are Paul Crockett and Sidney Bakabella. Your ring announcer is Rich Palladino.

In the opening match, former Discovery Gauntlet competitor Daniel Garcia goes one-on-one against John Silver, who is on a role in Beyond Wrestling as of late. The match starts out with a feeling out process between the two. Early submission attempts from both men end in a stalemate. Garcia gains some momentum after a butterfly suplex into the corner turnbuckles. This is until a lawn dart turns the tables in Silver’s favor. He starts to control the match with brutal chops and kicks. Gracia comes back with a superplex off the top which is countered by Silver into a brainbuster.

The two men trade shots and Silver kills Garcia with a lariat. Silver makes Garcia tap to a crossface on the outside but the match isn’t over. Inside the ring Garcia locks in the deathshooter but Silver gets to the ropes. He follows up with a piledriver for only a near fall. Silver comes back with the spin doctor for a two count. He locks in a submission and Garcia is able to reach the ropes both times. Silver puts away Garcia with a punt to the head. Amazing match from these two.

In the previous episode of Uncharted Territory, Chuck O’Neil stole Pinkie Sanchez’s Pazuzu knee pad. The crowd is heavily against O’Neil in this match. Sanchez hits an early dive to the outside on O’Neil. He follows up with a crossbody off the top rope but is caught by O’Neil and is sent into the top turnbuckle. O’Neil controls majority of the match. Anytime Pinkie tries something, he is stopped by O’Neil. Pinkie comes back with a double stomp off the top rope. He tries to follow up with his signature moonsault DDT but O’Neil is able to avoid it. The match then ends with a Michinoku Driver into the armbar. Pinkie is forced to tap. O’Neil tries to steal Pinkie’s other knee pad but Chris Dickinson comes out and makes the save.

The Bird and the Bee is set to take on Club Cam’s Christian Casanova and Richard Holliday. Solo Darling and Casanova start off the match. There’s an arm wrestling contest between the two not too far into the contest. Casanova and Holliday seem to have issues with eachother throughout the match. Solo and Willow lock Holliday in a double submission. Referee calls for the bell but then calls it off as Holliday says he never gave up. Solo ends up rolling up Holliday for the win.

Deana Rae is interviewing the challenger in the Discovery Gauntlet, Gary Jay. He says he’s been through 17 years of sacrifice and he’s gonna knock Matt Makowski out. The match starts and Jay gives Makowski a vicious slap. Makowski is on wobbly legs. Makowski ends up on the outside and Jay comes with a trio of dives. Back inside the ring Makowski attacks the left arm of his opponent. Later into the match Makowski ends up on the ring apron where Jay comes with a double stomp onto the back of his head. This sends him face first into the ring apron. Chaos theory into an armbar from Makowski seems to end the match as the bell rings. It ends up being Tony Deppen that rang the bell. The distraction allows Jay to hit his opponent with a forearm shot that ends the match.

Tony Deppen enters the ring. He’s on the microphone but out comes Chris Dickinson. Dickinson lays out a challenge and the match is underway. Dickinson gets the early control until Deppen sends him to the outside. He follows up with a trust fall. Deppen controls this portion of the match until Dickinson gets fired up. He lays some nasty chops into the chest of Deppen. Deppen attempts a springboard off the ropes but he’s caught by the Dirty Daddy and it’s turned into a DVD. The two men trade exploder suplexes. A Pazuzu Bomb ends the match in favor of Dickinson. He then challenges Chuck O’Neil for next week’s episode.

Smart Mark Sterling gets on the mic until he eats a chokebreaker from Nick Gage. The match is underway as the two teams brawl on the outside. The action is back inside the ring as Alex Reynolds and VSK control Thomas Santell. Santell eventually is able to make the tag. Nick Gage comes in a cleans house on both men. Nerder Death Kill attempt the spiked piledriver to Reynolds but it’s stopped by VSK. Santell ends up locking in a stretch muffler on Reynolds, VSK tries to make the save but Gage is there to deliver a chokebreaker. Reynolds ends up tapping to the submission.

The two women start off the match with a back and forth contest. Neither of them gains the advantage until Mercedes Martinez hits a saito suplex and a knee to the face of her opponent. Every time Kris Statlander tries to fight back, she is cut off by Mercedes. This continues until she comes back with a shotgun dropkick and a moonsault off the middle rope for only a two count. Mercedes goes back to controlling the match. She hits a Death Valley Driver off the ropes. Mercedes attempts the dragon sleeper but it’s blocked by Statlander. Statlander lays in some nasty kicks to the head of her opponent. She wraps Mercedes in a submission. Mercedes doesn’t tap until Statlander lays in some kicks to her head.

They end the match with some sportsmanship. Statlander announces that she will be team captain for Beyond Wrestling in a 5-on-5 elimination match set for the Thanksgiving episode of Uncharted Territory.

Overall:

Another really good show from Beyond Wrestling. In an era where there’s ton of wrestling content, Uncharted Territory continues to be one of the must-see weekly television shows. The opener between Silver and Garcia might’ve one of the best opening matches so far this season. Mercedes Martinez returns to Uncharted Territory and has another great match. It would be amazing if she was able to return on a weekly basis.
