Alex Shelley teamed with his former Time Splitters partner Kushida to defeat the Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Jaxson Ryker) for NXT in Pittsburgh. Shelley & Kushida are set to compete in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic against the Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) in a first round match on Wednesday.
