The Game Changer Wrestling roster just finished up a successful tour of Japan. And not long after are back on the grind, going back to one of their most well-known venues in the Showboat. But even though the matches in Japan were bloody, the matches on this card prove stack up for a showing that could exceed that in intensity. So let’s take a look at what goes down on February 15th at 8pm at the Showboat, and on Fite.tv.

SHLAK vs ???

Originally supposed to be Masashi Takeda, but the latter had to pull out. And SHLAK is left without an opponent. This has given a wide-open opportunity for anyone to shine against one of GCW’s more hardcore wrestlers. SHLAK at the same time had impressive showings during the Japan tour, and we’ll see if he can carry the momentum against whoever his mystery opponent might be.

Matthew Justice vs Matt Tremont

An up and comer in Matthew Justice going up against a legend of the hardcore scene in Matt Tremont. It’s a classic story of a match, but this one with more often than not have a hardcore twist to it given the styles of these two men. The fact that the two of them are both larger than average men will lend itself to some very, brutal-looking moments. And in a hardcore match, that’s something to look forward to. So look for Matthew Justice to impress even more so than he has in the past year.

Chris Dickinson vs Jimmy Lloyd

A lot of jokes could be made about this match considering their nicknames. However, at the very core of it, one thing is the same. These two, when given the time to shine, have the ability to wow a crowd. Chris Dickinson where ever he goes puts on displays of strength and even mixes it up a bit. Whereas Jimmy Lloyd who is more of a hardcore fighter has shown amazing resilience. These two mixing it up will be a fun match, with some chaos surrounding it.

Joey Janela vs Jordan Oliver

As announced way back at the first show of the year, Joey Janela will be wrestling in GCW more often. This one is his return match. He takes on a very young talent in Jordan Oliver, but also a man who the crowd can’t help but hate. Janela seeks to make his return a successful one, but Oliver does have the chance to ruin the return not just for Janela but for everyone else. He is capable of doing so, so keep a close eye on how this one ends up.

Effy vs Tony Deppen

Effy and Tony Deppen are two of GCW’s most well-known stars. Both bringing their own unique and outgoing style to the product. So when these two get into the ring with each other two things are to be expected. The match quality will be excellent, and the ring will be filled with more personality than normal.

Alex Colon vs Takashi Sasaki

The winner of the tournament of Survival 4 takes on the Promoter of FREEDOMS. These two crossed paths at Art of War 2020 in a six-man tag match. In which Takashi’s team won. This time around it will be one on one.  With these two men who are well versed in deathmatches, expect some big things to go down. Especially because at last year’s February show in the exact same venue, Alex Colon took on another FREEDOMS representative in Jun Kasai.

Mance Warner vs Allie Kat

Mance Warner and Allie Kat have a lot in common when it comes to GCW. Both are loved by the audience, both are from the southern territories, but the biggest thing in common is that both are coming off of huge losses. They’ll be looking to get back on the winning path, but that does not mean it won’t be fun. Mance and Allie are able to dip into comedy and hardcore if need be. Which makes this the wild card match of the program as there’s no knowing what’s going to happen.

GCW World Championship: Rickey Shane Page vs Nick Gage

This match has been brewing ever since the Nick Gage Invitational where RSP stole the belt from Gage. Ever since then it’s been escalating to this tipping point where at Just Being Honest, during a tribute for Justice Pain, Gage was attacked from behind by RSP.  This match is the first defence for the champion a stark contrast to Gage who defended it on every show. This match will also be charged with emotions as these two do not like each other one bit, and it will be the first time Gage is getting his hands on RSP. It will be violent.
