It seems forever since we last had a Game Changer Wrestling show. With the COVID pandemic causing them to shut down for a few months after their Acid Cup showing. The return with The Wrld on GCW part 2 feels good like something is getting back to normal. and even though the crowd will be outdoors to abide by social distancing it’s still sold out. The Indy faithful will be loud, and the GCW Talent after being cooped up for so long will be ready and willing to give them a show to remember on June 20th on Fite.tv.

Nick Gage vs Nate Webb

The two veterans of the sport square off, and these two have been through a lot both together and across the ring from each other. Having gone through different companies and different deathmatches, it’s only appropriate that one of the matches in the return of the company is between the two people who have known each so well. Giving a bit of a constant feeling during a turbulent time even if that constant is very, very violent.

Effy vs Allie Kat

Two of the more noteworthy characters of GCW face-off against each other. With Allie Kat after going through trials and tribulations in past shows ultimately facing off against Mance Warner in a bloody match. Going up against another hardcore expert in Effy, both of these wrestlers will not only give an entertaining match with full character on display. But if their prior efforts inside of a GCW ring are any indication there will be blood.

Blake Christian vs Myron Reed

Blake Christian takes on MLW’s Myron Reed in a match which will be different from most of the other fare on the card if only due to the styles of the two competitors meshing in a high flying style. Christian in the lead up to the postponed Collective was pulling out some new and flashy maneuvers that drew eyes to him. It’s going to be on him to see if he can pick up where he left off or if Myron Reed will be able to stop his momentum in it’s tracks.

44OH vs Second Gear Crew

The Current GCW Champion Rickey Shane Page isn’t very charitable when it comes to giving title matches to people. Sometimes it needs to be proven to earn a title match over anyone else, and with that comes the Second Gear Crew of Mance Warner and Matthew Justice. While it seems like a rather thrown together team at first they are a good combination both harboring a rough style that leans on the brawling side of things. It wasn’t too long ago that Mance Warner was jumped during his entrance during his scheduled match with Rickey Shane Page. Perhaps with a bit of payback on their mind and a want for gold the Second Gear Crew can secure a title match or RSP can snake his way out of it.

Alex Zayne vs Jimmy Lloyd

It was just over a year that Alex Zayne debuted for GCW at their Backyard Wrestling show and became one of the fastest rising stars due to his performance. He goes up against GCW favorite Jimmy Lloyd in what will be an interesting mix of high flying on one side and deathmatch on the other. Though if anyone can bring Zayne crashing down to earth hard it’s Lloyd. So at The Wrld on GCW pt 2 this match could go to anyone.

Chris Dickinson vs 1 Called Manders

Power vs Power going into The Wrld on GCW Part 2 as Dickinson faces off against Manders. Manders was once a Black Label Pro mainstay but recently has been striking it out on his own. Unfortunately, that started in 2020 so we haven’t really gotten a good look at what Manders really can in a different situation aside from a few matches here and there in Beyond and GCW. However, he was given an uphill battle as his opponent is Chris Dickinson, the man who has been lighting up the independents, and even with the amount of time off it feels like Dickinson has the most momentum behind him. Rough draw for Manders but it’ll see what he can do given tough odds.

Tre Lamar vs Lee Moriarty

Two very young but very capable talents go head to head. Tre Lamar better known for his time in AIW as part of 40 Acres and in BLP as part of Blood Diamond made a quick impact in his young career. That’s not by mistake he is full of talent and at the age of 23 the sky seems to be the limit for him. On the other side of the ring is Lee Moriarty who despite only having four years in the business has picked up huge wins and has slowly but surely made his way across the United States. This may be a little bit of a glimpse into the future stars of the wrestling scene.

AJ Gray vs KTB

A Hoss match in every sense of the word comes to The Wrld on GCW Part 2. AJ Gray and KTB are big men who are not only powerhouses but strikers and when they strike they strike hard. The former GCW Champion AJ Gray has been on the warpath to get his title back after Rickey Shane Page took it from him. But that could all come to a stop here if he and KTB end up destroying each other. Expect the two to throw everything they have at each other and then some as even weapons could come into play which neither of them are strangers to using.

Tony Deppen vs Shane Mercer

Tony Deppen can be called a lot of insults, and they’d all be true, but a positive that can be stated about him is that he’s a Starmaker. With that said he’s facing one of the people who always seem to be on the edge of catching the wrestling world by storm, but for one reason or another just can’t do it in Shane Mercer, despite gifs and such that show off Mercer’s impressive strength and agility. With Tony Deppen in the ring these two not only have the chance to make a show-stealing match but a star-making performance.

Gringo Loco vs Johnathan Wolf vs Cole Raddick vs Calvin Tankman vs JJ Garrett vs Benjamin Carter

The scramble makes it’s return and with it comes a lot of familiar faces coming back to GCW. From a lot of Lucha and high flying influenced people to pure power. The many different styles coming together is one of the reasons the scramble match GCW puts on display is so special. The other reason is the possibility of seeing a new star shine through and if the buzz is anything to go by it seems like Calvin Tankman is the one to keep an eye on. But hey it could be anyone, and that’s the interesting and exciting thing about these matches.
