The IWL which back in June made a statement that heavily implied Will Ospreay had gotten wrestler Polyanna taken off shows has walked back their statement today. They now are clarifying that they said it was the venue. They answered another tweet with the following, “Yes. From what I knew at the time, that was my opinion.
Since then, I’ve been made to believe that maybe the situation wasn’t as clear as I thought. Hence the clarification today.”
Given what Polyanna tweeted at IWL, it’s clear she wants some answers as well. IWL didn’t seem to answer anything on her end or give any satisfactory answers as to who made the call and why they heavily implied it was Ospreay only to back track now but without giving an actual apology for making it appear as if it was Ospreay.
Here are the tweets/screen shots
This should be a moment where we stand united in support of those affected by the death of Ryan Smile. Instead some are ripping it into Will Ospreay.
To avoid any misconception we have to clarify something, Will did NOT contact us directly about unbooking Polly, the venue did.

In the original Tweet we did say it was the venue that asked us to call them.
Earlier today I received a message and a lot of people were under the impression it was Will directly.
Just wanted to make it clear. https://t.co/1yDobwogW4

Yeah I’m agreeing with this. You confirmed this, what have you become more clear about? Was it actually your own decision? I want this clarified too.
