Fightful Select has a report with details on the new WWE contracts that were signed by several wrestlers from EVOLVE/WWNLive.
Described as “short-term” contracts, they are reportedly worth $60,000 per their downside guarantees. The talents can receive added bonuses of $500 for every WWE television episode they appear on. It was said they could increase to as high as $80,000 in January 2021 and that the talents’ bonuses will have significant increases. They could potentially triple in size for future TV appearances.
The report notes that several sources within WWE were happy that the company has opted for these type of “shorter-term agreements” which could result in less “stockpiling and hoarding” of wrestlers who end up not being used on television.
In a recent report Fightful Select also stated that WWE would be interested in bringing back No Way Jose after the releases in April amid the pandemic.
