Beyond Wrestling is back! The premiere episode of Signature Series took place on Thursday February 25th on IWTV. Taking place at the H2O Wrestling Center in Williamstown, New Jersey. The episode included 3 matches including a Tournament For Tomorrow tag team tournament match and a Greatest Rivals Round Robin match.

We have Paul Crockett and Sidney Bakabella back in the commentary booth.

The opening match of the night sees Jordan Oliver taking on Trish Adora. Oliver is going into the match with his shoulder taped up, still feeling the effects from the 2 hour Iron Man Match with Tony Deppen. Trish Adora uses that to her advantage and works the left arm of Oliver. Oliver takes control of the match and starts to work the lower back of Adora, which includes several Irish Whips into the turnbuckles. Adora fires back with some offense. Oliver is almost forced to tap to the Cattle Mutilation but breaks out of it and locks in a Boston Crab. Oliver is unable to put on the pressure on it due to the injured arm. This allows Adora to break free. The two trade strikes and Adora comes out of nowhere with a Lariat Tubman to pick up the victory.

The first match of the Tournament For Tomorrow tag tournament is up now. PB Smooth and Nate Carter start the match with an exchange. Both men tag out. After a spinning kick Tre LaMar plays possum. This distracts the referee and allows PB Smooth to lay out Dave McCall with a clothesline. 40 Acres keep working on McCall, cutting him off from his corner with some great tandem tag wrestling. McCall knees the back of LaMar allowing him to make the tag to Nate Carter. Carter comes in and cleans house. The REP hit a big Samoan drop neckbreaker combo on Smooth. LaMar gets the blind tag right before he gets hit with a pop-up spinebuster. McCall makes the pin but LaMar isn’t the legal man. 40 Acres comes back and LaMar hits the froggy bow for the win.

The main event is the first match in the Greatest Rivals Round Robin tournament. The match starts off as a back and forth contest until Tony Deppen attacks the left arm of Chris Dickinson. Dickinson is able to get back into the match after two dragonscrew legwhips. Dickinson ends up controlling the match, targeting the leg of Deppen. Deppen briefly comes back with a fury of offense. Locks in an armbar, but Dickinson fires back with a kneebar. Deppen ducks the roundhouse kick and hits a double stomp. A running elbow to the back of Dickinson’s head looks to have knocked him out but Deppen only gets a two count. Dickinson sees an opening and hits a German suplex for only a near fall. He immediately follows up with a STF and Deppen is forced to tap out.

Overall:

A great return for Beyond Wrestling. Although this wasn’t an episode of Uncharted Territory taking place at The White Eagle, this is the closest thing we’re going to get to it currently. With every match on this show ranging from good to great and the show clocking in at under an hour, what more could you ask for?
