It’s time for week 5 of Beyond Wrestling’s Signature Series. With the finale taking place next week, we’re almost at the end here. This episode premiered on Thursday March 25th on IWTV. Taking place at the H2O Wrestling Center in Williamstown, New Jersey. The episode had 4 matches including not one but two Tournament For Tomorrow tag team tournament match and a Greatest Rivals Round Robin match.

Paul Crockett and Sidney Bakabella is your commentary team of the night.

Opening match this week is the debuting Kaia McKenna taking on the returning Masha Slamovich. Slamovich bringing the attitude early, smacking McKenna in the face. McKenna takes control in the early part of the match. Slamovich comes back and dominates her opponent. McKenna tries to fire back but is caught in a belly to belly suplex. McKenna gains an advantage but it doesn’t last long as Slamovich hits a spinning back fist. She then locks in a cloverleaf and McKenna is forced to tap. Slamovich continues the attack after the bell.

Round 2 of Tournament For Tomorrow kicks off with Ephemera taking on Milk Chocolate. Edith Surreal immediately locks in a knee bar on Randy Summers but he reaches for the ropes. A bunch of technical wrestling from both competitors to start off the contest which usually ends with Surreal in control. This is until Brandon Watts takes a cheap shot allowing Summer to hit a lariat.

Summers and Watts cut off Surreal from her corner. Milk Chocolate gets too cocky and Surreal finds an opening. She’s able to make the tag and Saint Jaxon Dupont comes in on fire. The top rope becomes loose but Dupont is still able to hit some high risk maneuvers. Dupont tags out to Surreal which might be a little too early. Milk Chocolate gain the momentum and while the referee is distracted the chocolate powder comes into play again. Surreal is blinded and Watts makes the pin to pick up the victory.

There’s another second round match as 40 Acres battles Solo Darling and Willow Nightingale, The Bird And The Bee. Solo Darling and Tre LaMar kick off the match. Solo and Willow Nightingale are the aggressors until a cheap shot from PB Smooth. 40 Acres work over Willow, keeping her from tagging out to her partner. Willow hits a nasty back suplex and this is the opening she needs to make the tag. Solo comes in on fire. Tre hits a pele on Solo and both competitors tag out. The big man PB Smooth is now in the match. Solo and Willow work the leg of PB, chopping the big man down. Tre tags in and tries to pick up momentum for his team but is caught in the sharp stinger. Willow stops PB from entering the ring and Solo makes LaMar tap.

The main event is Tony Deppen and Wheeler YUTA squaring off. This match is to determine who finishes last in the Greatest Rivals Round Robin tournament. YUTA keeps playing retreat early in the match. He gets to the ropes and the ref tries to back Deppen up. YUTA takes a cheapshot and controls the match from this moment. There’s some great back and forth wrestling between both men. The momentum goes back to the side of YUTA after he hangs Deppen up on the ropes and starts to attack his opponent’s legs.

Deppen tries to come back with a springboard codebreaker but YUTA catches him and turns it into a sharpshooter. Deppen is able to get to the ropes. YUTA takes Deppen to the top rope but Deppen attacks his arm in order to break free. Deppen attempts to get back into the match but YUTA hits a dragon screw. YUTA locks in some type of figure four with a bridge. Both men go back and forth with pins. Deppen almost accidentally hits the referee. This distraction allows YUTA to hit Deppen with a low blow. He follows up with a knee bar and Deppen is forced to tap. Another great match in the GRRR tournament. It’s very interesting seeing this new attitude from Wheeler YUTA.
