News struck the wrestling world out of nowhere yesterday, June 8th, 2021 as Lio Rush announced his retirement from the sport of professional wrestling. According to his announcement on Instagram, this decision came after suffering a recent injury to his arm during Double or Nothing’s Casino Battle Royal. Towards the end of the post, Lio confirmed that one he has recovered he would be honoring his final dates with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
