Before the match Billy says that he is ready to take the Fest Championship belt, as he has already beaten Effy twice and is going to make it three times. Effy says that Billy is a little too confident, as Effy is not only the Fest Champion, but also the Internet Champion.
Billy Dixon vs Effy (Fest Wrestling Championship Match)
We have Rich Bocchini and Veda Scott on commentary and Nick Shin is our referee. This match is being contested under Fest rules, which means anything goes. Both combatants are greeted with cheers from the crowd and we have blonde mullet variant of Effy tonight.
Effy opens the match with a slap to Billy’s face, but Billy takes him down and lays punches to a grounded Effy. Effy comes back with a big cutter, but Billy throws him out of the ring and the fight goes to the outside. They exchange strikes and Billy lays in some big chops on Effy, but Effy slams Billy’s head on the apron. Effy grabs a kendo stick. He chokes Billy with the stick and hits him on the back with it.
As they go back in the ring the crowd starts chanting for Effy and Effy is trash talking Billy as he lays in some strikes. Effy tries to get Billy up for a piledriver, but Billy flips him over and sends him to the outside. Billy repeatedly hits Effy with a door, then puts him on a chair. Billy goes to get a chair, but Effy gets up. He bends Billy’s arm around the ringpost then hits him with a chair.
Effy sets up a door on 2 chairs on the outside. He pulls Effy to the apron and hits him in the head with his crotch. Billy is able to get the advantage and hits a sliding dropkick, putting Effy on the door. Billy goes for an elbow drop from the apron but Effy moves out of the way. He then choke slams Billy through the door. Effy throws a ladder in the ring and sets it up on 2 chairs. Effy puts Billy on the turnbuckle, but Billy hits Effy in the crotch and drives him through the ladder headfirst with a swinging DDT. Billy locks in a crossface, but Effy escapes and slams a steel chair into Billy’s head.
Effy goes for a blockbuster off the top, but Billy avoids him by casually sitting down. Billy chokes Effy, but Effy likes it and answers with a choke slam of his own. Effy tosses Billy into the corner and thrusts his crotch into Billy’s face. Billy answers by biting Effy’s crotch, but Effy counters with a rana. Not exactly technical wrestling moves, but they get the job done. Billy gives Effy a full nelson slam into a dragon sleeper, but Effy reverses it. Billy escapes, but Effy gives him a suplex through a chair for the win. This match was beautifully violent, especially in the setting of the old church.
Effy grabs the mic after the match and says that MV Young hit him from behind last season in Enjoy, so he wants MV at Fest. On Halloween in Gainesville, FL they will battle for the Fest Championship in a casket match.
Next week we have Dani Mo and Façade against Killian McMurphy and Savannah Evans, and the main event will be a hair vs mask match between Edith Surreal and Ziggy Haim.
