Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my second review here for PWPonderings. As you might remember I reviewed Beyond Wrestling’s Dong Work For YUTA, and was scheduled to cover AmericanRana 21 but mother nature had other plans. That being said, it seems like we’ve got a very strong card on paper here, and I promise to be better going forward. Let’s get started…

Beyond Wrestling Presents “Fete Forever”

Your master of ceremonies today as always is the awesome Rich Palladino, and we are live from Fete Music Hall in Providence, Rhode Island! One of the most iconic venues in the northeast plays host to a heck of a card for Beyond Wrestling.

Match #1. Teddy Goodz vs. Aaron Rourke with Cam Zagami

Zagami is wearing red leather a la Michael Jackon’s “Beat It” video and I don’t know how to feel. Crowd is firmly behind Goodz. Rourke starts fast but Goodz turns the tide and lands a huge back body drop. Zagami gets involved early and allows Rourke to hit a backstabber for an early two count. Rourke with an eye gouge and a Broski Boot in the corner for another two count. Goodz catches Rourke on the top rope and hit an iconoclasm followed by a lariat. Rourke calls him a peasant. Goodz with the headbangers-esque corner elbows. Follows up with a brutal chop. Goodz with a backpack stunner and a long two count. Goodz up top but Zagami gets involved again pushing him off the top rope. Rourke takes advantage again and hits a split legged moonsault for the W. Fine opener with some comedy to get the crowd ready and didn’t overstay it’s welcome.

Winner: Aaron Rourke

Rating: **

Match #2. Independent Wrestling World Title: Alex Shelley (c) vs. Ruby Soho

Fans are PUMPED for this match and so am I. Shelley attempts a lot of pinning combinations early, seemingly frustrating Soho. Series of battling shoulder blocks but Ruby gets the standing shoulder lock (Frank Mir lock, go watch Frank Mir vs. Pete Williams from UFC 36). Ruby starting to get the better of the chain wrestling and Shelley has to take a powder. Ruby telegraphs a dive and Shelley takes advantage with a backbreaker. Crowd is not pleased and Shelley couldn’t care any less. Shelley with a.. a… I have no idea. A double leg trapped stretch muffler in an Kryptonite Krunch position? Shelley switches to an inverted Cattle Mutilation. Then a surfboard. Now Shelley resorts to body slams and being the bully. Ruby fights back with some clotheslines and a few elbows, European uppercut, rolling elbow, and into an STO for the two. Ruby goes up top for a diving senton but Shelley gets the knees up, quickly transitions into a Border City Stretch. She gets to the ropes and has her arm snapped for good measure. Ruby’s having none of it and answers with a knee to the fact. Border City Stretch of her own but Shelley escapes. Shelley with a Kryptonite Krunch backbreaker for two! Action is fast and furious here. Shelley reverses a rollup and locks in the Border City Stretch in the center of the ring and Ruby has no choice but to tap! Super fun match and now we can all finally take a breath. I think it’s time we see Ruby Soho wrestle some of the guys in AEW because she’s proved she can hang with the best, time and time again.

Winner and still Independent Wrestling World Champion: Alex Shelley

Rating: ***1/2

Post-match the crowd chants “Welcome Home” and “Please Come Back” for Ruby, as well as singing her theme for her as she leaves the ring. Beyond Wrestling announces they will return to Fete Music Hall on February 4th for Beyond Wrestling’s Day 91.

Match #3. Megan Bayne vs. Tasha Steelz

Megan Bayne is giving me 1993 “Narcissist” Lex Luger vibes here. Needs more mirrors. Crowd loves Tasha Steelz here. Bayne is strong and she’s muscling Steelz all over the ring. Bayne misses a corner splash and Steelz takes control. Enziguiri in the corner but Bayne escapes a swinging DDT. SHE’S TOO STRONG. Bayne tosses Steelz into a corner and poses for the crowd. Slow, methodical pace here. Somewhere Jim Cornette is eating potato chips. Running senton by Bayne and Steelz isn’t moving much here. Irish whip into the corner and Steelz reverses, a series of chops here but Bayne is TOO DAMN STRONG and catches her head scissors attempt into a Warlord-esque powerslam. Steelz gets out at two. Bayne with a sling shot stalling vertical drop suplex. More posing. Steelz kicks out again and Bayne isn’t happy. Bayne missing a running knee in the corner and Steelz fights back with fists and a rolling elbow but Bayne hasn’t left her feet. Headbutts and a flying chop get Bayne down. Steelz runs into a back elbow but gets caught with a Bossman Slam for a two count. Steelz focusing her attacks on the leg trying to chop down the larger Bayne. She hits a rope assisted bulldog for a two count. Bayne catches Steelz but Steelz reverses into a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Steelz with an ace crusher for another close two. One of, what looks like Dalton Castle’s boys, distracts the referee as Steelz climbs up to the top, and the other “assistant” tosses Steelz off. Bayne gets back up and delivers the tombstone for the one, two, three. Bayne finally looks human in a match and Steelz was the perfect foil. Nice showing here by both ladies.

Winner: Megan Bayne

Rating: **1/2

Match #4. The Beaver Boys (Jon Silver & Alex Reynolds) vs. Whatever It Takes (“Smart” Mark Sterling & VSK)

“The Aces of the Tag Team Division” and Dark Order members Silver and Reynolds are over like rover, as they say. Crowd is loving it. Sterling starts and makes a tag to VSK before making any contact with Reynolds. That’s not allowed dude. Just ask Hogan and Orndorff. “Meat! Meat! Meat!”. Silver is in and he’s bumping everyone and everything. Tag to Reynolds and Sterling gets tossed to the outside. VSK gets dumped as well. Sterling back in and stomps Reynolds. Sterling comedically misses a crossbody but Reynolds misses a shoulder block and gets posted. VSK slams Renolds on the apron on the outside and Sterling gets a two count. Tags to VSK as he goes for the eyes and cuts the ring off. Sterling back in with stomps, a suplex, and a tag back to VSK. VSK tells Reynolds to “suck it” and hits a knee drop. Reynolds rebounds with a lariat that catches VSK awkwardly on the top of the head and they’re both down. Tags in Sterling as Silver is knocked off the apron. VSK ALMOST hits Sterling but catches himself, then Reynolds shoots VSK into Sterling anyway which allows Reynolds to hit a rising knee and make the SCORCHING HOT TAG to Jonny Hungeez. VSK tries a hurricanrana but Silver counters into a sitout powerbomb for two. Hungeeeeee with some of his stiff kicks. “Meat Man is the besttttt.. Meat Man number one!” chants distract Silver and VSK gets the tag. Sterling jawing with the crowd lets Silver make the tag to Reynolds who delivers a huge, bige boot, some strikes in the corner, and another big boot in the corner. VSK is in and Reynolds hits a rolling elbow. Sterling back in the ring and we get some combination offense rolling elbow/enziguiri/stunner/german suplex/jackknife pin combo for the long two but it’s broken up by VSK. That had me, the crowd, and everyone. VSK and Silver are duking it out in the center of the ring but Silver fires up with some slaps, VSK counters into a backslide, Silver up with a flurry of kicks and knees, looking for the brainbuster but VSK counters with an ushi garoshi of his own. Sterling hops in to hit the Ruff Ryder, but Renolds makes the save. Sterling distracts the referee and hits Reynolds directly in the nads. Sterling with a set of brass knuckles but Reynolds throws a FIREBALL into his face! 1, 2, 3 as the Beaver Boys get the win! Totally fun match that had the crowd the whole way through, and the Beaver Boys can do no wrong here in Beyond Wrestling.

Winner: Beaver Boys

Rating: ***

Post-match, Silver grabs a brewski and he’s celebrating in the ring. Whereas on commentary, we find out that Jonathan Gresham returns to Beyond Wrestling on 12/31/21 at Heavy Lies the Crown!

Match #5. Masha Slamovich vs. Kimber Lee

Four days ago, Masha Slamovich and Slade beat the absolute potatoes out of each other and I’m not sure how she’s ready for this, but here we go. “Welcome Home” chants for Kimber Lee and these two are starting off fast and furious. Masha catches Kimber’s round kick and lands a German suplex. Kimber decides against it and lands one of her own. Both are up now and Masha attacking Kimber in the corner. Kimber fighting from underneath here with a spinning back kick to the face. Masha asks for another one. Gets it. Asks for a third. Gets that too, but now she’s down. Kimber with a crossface but Masha bites her way out of it. Kawada kicks by Masha for a two count. Kimber fights out, snapmare, and delivers some kicks to Masha from behind. Masha, not to be outdone, does the same, but finishes with a penalty kick for two. Masha with an arm trapped crucifix bomb kind of maneuver that lands Kimber high on her neck and shoulders for a two count. Masha and Kimber are trading Yakuza kicks in the corner, but Kimber gets the better of the situation. Deuling head kicks here and both women are down in the middle. Masha up first and a spinning wheel kick in the center gets a two count. Kimber reverses a waist lock and delivers back-to-back German suplexes. A third German with a bridge gets a two count. Kimber is up and hits a short piledriver dropping to her knees. Brutal. Another two count. Kimber is obviously frustrated. Kimber grabs a crutch from the audience and just goes to town on the back and head area of Masha for the disqualification! Really fun, strong match here between the “old school” and “new school” of the independent scene. The story of Kimber not being able to put away Masha and losing it leads me to believe we’ll be seeing more of these two in the future… and that works for me.

Winner: Masha Slamovich

Rating: ***

Match #6. Wheeler Yuta vs. “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams

CATCH POINT! CLAP CLAP! CATCH POINT! CLAP CLAP! Tracy Williams is one of my favorite wrestlers on the entire planet and I’m not even going to try and hide it. They start with a handshake, but Yuta tries to attack from behind only to be caught by an arm drag. Nice chain wrestling between the two early with Hot Sauce getting the upper hand. Yuta fires back with a dropkick into the teeth and the crowd seems firmly behind him. Yuta grapevines the legs and locks in a bow and arrow submission that Hot Sauce rolls out of, however Yuta holds on and transitions into a Muta Lock. Hot Sauce grabs the neck and turns it into a choke that Yuta quickly escapes. Now we’re exchanging some strong style strikes in the center of the ring with Yuta getting the better of it. Hot Sauce counters a suplex into a high angle Shawn Michaels-esque 1993 leg grab back suplex of his own for two. Hot Sauce firing up here and hits a Doctor Bomb the two. Hot Sauce is laying in some heavy chops. The commentary: “He is treating him like I treat my child right now. You hit him, then you walk away.” Like a young Don Callis. Yuta fights from underneath and lands a high crossbody then a triple jump missile dropkick from the corner. Hot Sauce rolls outside and Yuta follows him with a suicide dive. I. Hate. That. Move. Yuta back up top but The Sauce sees him coming. Yuta catches a charging Hot Sauce with a deadlift German suplex. Big boot from Yuta but Hot Sauce counters with a rolling elbow. Yuta down and Hot Sauce locks in a cross face which he escapes. Yuta with an arm trapped Olympic Slam for two into a cross face of his own. Yuta transitions to an ankle lock but Hot Sauce rolls to the ropes. Hot Sauce with a picture-perfect Death Valley Driver for a long two count. Corner enziguiri by Yuta stops Hot Sauce momentarily but tries for the top rope turnbuckle DDT anyway. Yuta escapes out and hits a Michinoku Driver. Frog splash by Yuta but Hot Sauce gets the knees up. Cradle! 1, 2, no! Hot Sauce looks for the piledriver but Yuta rolls through into a jackknife cover for the three! Fantastic professional wrestling match between two technicians. I hope we see Tracy Williams back in Beyond sooner rather than later… and everywhere else for that matter.

Winner: Wheeler Yuta

Rating: ****

Hot Sauce and Yuta hug afterward and Hot Sauce is announced for Heavy Lies the Crown on New Year’s Eve! I see they’re listening to me.

Match #7. Slade vs. Rickey Shane Page

Before the match starts Slade already has chairs and doors scattered through the ring so I would expect bloodshed. Soon. And as expected, Slade starts off with a t-bone suplex through the door. Slade is now bludgeoning RSP with a chair, chucking doors in his face, etc. RSP wants to be a wrestler. Slade wants to be a murderer. RSP with a slingshot release suplex followed by some chair shots to the back. Now he’s just throwing chairs with reckless abandon in the direction of Slade. RSP with a rude awakening on an unfolded chair. Yeeeeezus. Two count. RSP unfolds two chairs upside down and someone might get impaled here. Slade reverses and CHOKESLAMS RSP INTO THE UPSIDE DOWN UNFOLDED CHAIRS. One, two, and no! RSP’s left eye is swelling up something fierce. Powerslam by Slade for two. RSP on the offense now and release vertical suplex to Slade through six unfolded chairs. RSP up top with a frog splash for another two count. RSP sets up a door in the middle of the ring, asks the fans for some help, and now sets up more unfolded chairs on top of the door for a Tower of Doom looking contraption. Slade is up and he isn’t thrilled as he shrugs off a chair to the face. Slade just pounding on RSP but RSP responds with a spinning kick and RSP is looking for a superplex on the Tower of Doom structure and NAILS IT. ONE, TWO, NO! RSP grabs Slade, lands the GTF… which is a choke slam into a kick to the back of the head for the three count. Fun brawl here but after all the wild spots, the finish came off a bit weak. Still, a lot of fun, a lot of brutality, and nobody held anything back.

Winner: Rickey Shane Page

Rating: ***1/2

“RSP’s my favorite wrestler” chants ring through the arena. “Both these guys!” RSP and Slade fist bump as a sign of respect. Mark Sterling is out and says he heard RSP retired from death matches after Matt Cardona started doing them. Sterling has a message from his client Matt Cardona… and that message is a superkick from VSK as Sterling attacks with brass knuckles but no! Slade is back to save RSP. RSP has some… words for Sterling. RSP proposes a tag match, RSP and Slade vs. Mark Sterling and VSK at Uncharted Territory!

Match #8. Bear Country vs. Mane Event vs. The Shook Crew vs. Waves and Curls

Alright… this was supposed to be a tag team match. Then Shook Crew came out. Then Waves and Curls came out. Listen, I’m going to do my best but I’m not promising picture perfect PBP here. Waves and Curls made me a fan strictly due to the Whitney Houston entrance. Black and Brandyn to start. Black is an athlete that’s for sure, and the action is as fast as I anticipated. Brandyn is giving up a lot of size here and it shows. Orlando tags in and a dropkick from Brandyn. Waves and Curls gear is based on the show Martin and I am here for it. Orlando tags in Donovan and they hit a suplex onto the knees. Quick tags here but Brandyn hits a double jaw breaker. Uh oh. Orlando tags Boulder. Brandyn tags in his partner, Jordan. Crowd chants “hoss fight”! Big boot from Jordan who tags in Brandyn and… that wasn’t the best idea. Boulder catches him and make him pay with a military press slam after about 15 reps. Jordan comes in but Bronson makes the save with a spinebuster. Black then comes in and gets powerslammed onto both members of Waves and Curls. Orlando breaks up the cover but then runs out of the ring in a funny moment. Boulder is dragging Brandyn around the ring like a piece of steak. Bronson in and hits a senton for a two count. The scariest body slam I have personally ever seen from Bronson onto Brandyn as he’s playing with his kill. Brandyn fires up and fires back and Donovan gets the tag on Bronson and now they’re legal. Orlando is in and he’s in control of Brandyn. Quick tags here between Shook Crew members. A “staying alive” chant breaks out and Orlando is irritated. Donovan in to prevent the tag but Brandyn tags the closest man who is Midas Black! Black is a house of fire and he tags his partner Lyons. Some double team strikes here from the Mane Event to Bear Country. Referee has lost total control. Mane Event hit a partner assisted toss-into-a-cutter on Brandyn. 619 by Black and a Lyon Sault by Lyons and a Spiral Tap by Black. There’s a hula-hoop in the ring now so there’s that. Lyons cut off on his attempted dive by Bear Bronson who himself dives into the crowd. Lyons walks the top rope (with help from Black) and hits a moonsault onto everyone. Orlando sneaks back into the ring as the Shook Crew hit a double team powerbomb then Bronson runs in and elbows everyone in the face several times. Superkick by Donovan, right hand, code breaker, into a cutter into a ripcord Bossman slam. Nice teamwork here by the Shook Crew. Boulder is in and he doesn’t care as he lays out both Shook Crew members with a cross body. Boulder signals for a moonsault… lol what? Boulder up top by Donovan catches him, and the Shook Crew are looking for a Doomsday Device but Bronson comes in and tosses Orlando onto the apron in a brutal looking landing. Yikes. Donovan is left alone with Bear Country and he’s a pancake. Bear Country looking for the elevator drop but Brandyn flies in out of nowhere and hits a cutter on Bronson who’s on Boulder’s shoulders! Jordan and Brandyn are in with Boulder and Black from the top rope with a missile dropkick. It’s a superkick party to Boulder. We’re down to the Mane Event vs. Waves and Curls slugging it out in the center of the ring. Pair of superkicks from Mane Event and we’re down to Jordan and Black. Surprise, yet another superkick from Jordan to Black and he is down. Okay, that one was stiff. Jordan is a big fella. Jordan hits a sit out powerbomb aka the Sky High to Black. Donovan off the top and gets caught with a Wave Check for the three! Your milage will vary depending on your tastes for a match like this. Everyone works their asses off and nobody took a breath during this match, the crowd liked it, and it was “fun”. Was it a traditional wrestling match with selling and holds? No, it wasn’t, and we have to be okay with that sometimes. The crowd is happy and that’s what matters.

Winners: Waves and Curls

Rating: **3/4

Match #9. Max The Impaler vs. Willow Nightingale

I feel like Max The Impaler should hang out with Bear Country. Willow is out and everyone loves her. Lockup to start with Max getting the better of the exchange. Willow gets tossed by her hair and she’s not having it. She fires up and takes Max over with a spinning head scissors. Flying butt bump in the corner followed by a back elbow, Irish whip reverse by Max, but Willow cartwheels out of it. Senton by Willow, another one, and a two count by Willow. Wheelbarrow position for Max and she drops Willow neck first on the bottom turnbuckle. Max The Impaler just ripped off Willow’s fake eyelash and ate it. Then spit it out. I uh.. I dunno, man. That’s, uh. Yeah. Anyway. Max has Willow down and channeling Super Dragon, grabs both of Willow’s wrists and curb stomps here face first. Willow with an overhand slap but Max doesn’t care. Lariat by Max for a two count. Max with some headbutts and she crushes Willow in the corner. Willow cartwheels away again and makes enough space to land a superkick. Both are down in the center of the ring. Willow is up and backing Max up with some elbows and an Irish whip in the corner. Willow with a series of back elbows, sweeps the leg, and lands a cannonball in the corner for a long two count. Willow looking for the Doctor Bomb and I just don’t see it happening. Max overpowers Willow into the corner and a violent hair toss across the ring. Max with some huge shoulder blocks in the corner followed by a spinebuster and a spinning senton. That’s enough for another long two count. Crowd is trying to will Willow back into this but Max lands a Rock Bottom into a back breaker, however Willow smartly rolls to the apron. Willow goes up top but gets caught, Max has Willow up with Willow slides out the back and nails a huge lariat. That’s not enough to stop Max who lands a spear from across the ring and both are down. Max is up first with some more shoulder blocks in the corner but Willow corner with a roll up for two. Willow gets Max up and lands a Death Valley Driver followed by a moonsault for the three! I enjoyed this match as it exceeded my expectations, and we got to see a solid showing from Max who admittedly I’ve only seen a handful of times. Any match with Willow in it, you know the crowd is going to be invested and that only helps.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Rating: ***1/4

Match #9. Alec Price vs. Blake Christian

Okay time for an honest admission, this is the first time I can remember seeing Alec Price. He’s got victories over RSP, Chris Dickinson, and Matt Taven? Wow. Blake Christian is making his return to Beyond Wrestling after a disappointing stint (through zero fault of his own) in NXT as Trey Baxter. “Welcome back” chants ring out as the two lock up. Christian is fast and so is Price, and my fingers are hurting so bear with me. Fun sequence to start which sees Christian getting the better of Price with a head scissors and a dropkick. Christian to the outside, Price on the inside, and Christian hits a falling X-Factor from the top rope for a two count. Christian with an outside-in spinning body press for another two count. Price catches Christian going up top with a high kick, Price pulls him off the top and hits a ripcord half and half suplex high and tight. No cover? Rookie. Garvin stomps by Price. Christian ducks a clothesline and roll through with a frog splash. Price ducks a springboard clothesline and hits a back suplex and a double stop for another two count. Price with a running knee in the corner to the face, drops the knee pad, goes for it again but Christian ducks… only to be caught by a Ruff Ryder from the top for two. Headlock city by Price. Jawbreaker by Christian frees him, a pair of clotheslines, spinning backfist, and an inverted sling blade have Christian firmly in control. Springboard attempt by Christian is ducked by Price, standing switch, neck breaker on the knee following by a half and half suplex of his own. Lionsault from 3/4 of the way across the ring to Price gets Christian a very close two count. Price goes to hit double knees in the corner and Christian locks in a standing Texas Cloverleaf with Price on his shoulders, then drops Price with a powerbomb, and then turns him over into the Cloverleaf submission. Price gets to the ropes, and Christian is hit by Becca at ringside which allows Price to momentarily take control. Gotcha style powerbomb (that’s a first for me) followed by a Kryptonite Krunch neck breaker for a very long two count. Price looking for the running head stomp but Christian counter with a giant powerbomb for a two count. Christian goes up top but Becca once again pulls Price outside. Both men are on the outside and they’re approaching the stage. Price backflips off the stage and lands on his feet, Christian follows with a dive that takes out both Becca and Price. Forearm to the back of the head, ripcord Spanish fly, 450 double knees to Price and Price kicks out at two! Come on, man. These two dudes are just trading forearms and backfists in the center of the ring. Superkicks back and forth. Rising knees. Spinning back kicks. Superkicks. Price drops Christian with a few forearms and hits the rising back kick to the back of the head (SuPrice Kick?) for the three count. Well, these guys laid everything on the line that’s for sure. This was a 20 minute, all action, no rest, big move, big spot, crowd popping sprint. That’s what the Beyond fans react to, and the wrestlers know their audience well. Like I said with the four-way tag match earlier, if this is your style of match, you will love it.

Winner: Alec Price

Rating: ****

Rich Palladino tells us that Friday night, February 4th, Beyond Wrestling returns with Day 91. On that card? A returning… Biff Busick!

Match #10. No Disqualification: Dan Barry vs. Dutch

Team Tremendous were one of the most fun tag teams of all time, but it’s all come down to this. Dutch has ventured to the dark side and it’s going to take a hell of a lot from Dan Barry to bring him out. Barry starts fast with a dive to the outside. Fighting all over the place and when they return to the ring, Barry brings the chairs. Unfortunately, Dutch, who reminds me of Leatherface, tosses them directly in Barry’s face opening him up early. And if that wasn’t enough… Dutch is now violently stabbing Barry in the face with a fork. Short arm clothesline by Dutch and we’re back to the chairs. Dutch now sets up a door and he’s looking to powerbomb Barry through it, reversal by Barry, three superkicks by Barry and he runs at Dutch, only to be stopped in his tracks before the door. Dutch is a freight train. Dutch stops Barry, picks him up like a child, and powerbombs him VIOLENTLY through the door. Poor Dan Barry. Dutch leaves the ring to get a barbed wire 2×4. Barry ducks the attack and now he’s grinding the barbed wire in Dutch’s head, back, stomach, everywhere. It’s a bloodbath. Barry with punches to the open wound, then drives Dutch’s face into an unfolded chair with a flatliner variation. Barry has Dutch in the corner, wedges a chair in front of him, then does a running springboard dropkick into the face. Now we’ve got a ladder. No wonder Beyond chose this match to be the main event. This rules. Barry shoves the ladder into Dutch’s stomach in the corner, runs up it, and dropkicks him in the face. Dutch angrily throws the ladder directly into Barry’s face and there is a lot, and I mean a LOT, of blood on Dutch’s face. Dutch leaves to get a table but he sees Barry stirring, so he runs back in the ring and hits an exploder suplex that destroys the ladder and Barry’s back. We get our first cover attempt for the match by Dutch and Barry barely sneaks out at two. Dutch sets up the table on the outside and Barry dives from the ring over the table to take out Dutch and follows it up with an Asai moonsault for good measure. Barry goes to lay Dutch on the table but it collapses underneath him. Barry now looking for a door, as he sets up a makeshift table in the middle of the ring. Barry sets up the broken ladder. This is worrisome. Barry with a back suplex and heads up to the second rope, only to be caught by Dutch in midair with a Boss Man slam for two. Barry somehow powers Dutch up and hits a Samoan drop through the door, and now he’s draped a ladder in the corner across the ropes. Barry drapes Dutch across the ladder and hits a senton from the top rope! Barry, not even thinking about the cover, lays Dutch on top of the ladder and hits a twisting senton from the top for a two count. Barry puts all the plundahhhh in the middle of the ring, signals for Team Tremendous, but Dutch reverses it into another Bossman slam on top of all the goods for a very long two. Dutch then steals a beer from a fan, takes a seat, and drinks it over Barry’s seemingly lifeless body. Dutch then pulls out an Amazon box from under the ring. It’s the tacks. Barry fights back with kicks to the head of Dutch and actually drops him, then beat him about the head and back area with a steel chair. Barry now trying to SHOVE DUTCH’S FACE INTO THE TACKS. Holy s. Barry is ramming Dutch’s face into the tacks, then he stomps on it. Barry grabs a chair but he’s showing… remorse? Dutch is saying “no”! Dutch is apologizing! Dutch suckered Dan Barry in only to low blow him and hit not one, but two Bossman slams on the tacks for the three count. Unapologetically, I’ve been a fan of Team Tremendous for quite some time and did not want to see it go down this way. That being said, these two literally gave us everything we could have wanted into a blowoff to a blood feud in a death match. After a 3+ hour show, it would have been very easy to lose the crowd but these guys kept us invested, and it was brutal.

Winner: Dutch

Rating: ****

Vincent and Vita Von Starr are here! The Righteous have invaded Beyond Wrestling. Vincent talks about how Dan Barry was jealous of Dutch when he got to Ring of Honor, and Team Tremendous was about Dan Barry, nothing else! “Stop lying! Team Tremendous was about two cops who were trying to solve crime!” Yells a fan, and it popped the entire arena. Vincent says Barry probably blames him for all of this, and if he wants revenge, he’s right there, and there are no shackles. And this revenge.. is Tremendous.

Final Thoughts: This, was a long show. That’s not a bad thing, but it was a long show. What’s important in a show like this is for us to get variety, and that’s what we got. Different kinds of matches, styles, angles, etc. made the 3+ hour show kind of fly by. Beyond has done a great job sprinkling in some fresh talent with returning talent and giving us something different. If you don’t want to sit down for the ENTIRE show, go out of your way to see Dutch/Barry, Hot Sauce/Yuta, and Shelley/Ruby Soho. I’ll be looking forward to Heavy Lies the Crown on New Years Eve!

Final Score: 8.25/10
