Current Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham has confirmed that he will be pulling out of PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles. The reason given for his withdrawal is due to testing positive for COVID-19. He also stated that this was the reason he missed GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom this past Sunday.
Gresham was set to take on Davey Richards in the opening round. He was a favorite going in as he made it to the finals in 2019. A replacement has yet to be named in Gresham’s place for the tournament. The 2022 Battle of Los Angeles will take place on Saturday January 29th and Sunday January 30th.
Unfortunately, I will not be making it to LA tomorrow for BOLA. I recently caught covid, and as a result, I had to miss GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I am still testing positive as of today and don't want to put any colleagues/fans in harms way.
