Despite falling short in the main event against Defy Champion Christopher Daniels at last night’s Defy Wrestling event, Nick Wayne was offered an All Elite Wrestling contract by AEW star Darby Allin. Following the offer, Shane Strickland challenged Wayne to a match at Defy’s February 26th event.

The Seattle based Wayne has been making a name for himself in promotions such as West Coast Pro, Defy and most notable Game Changer Wrestling. This past November at Defy he squared off with AEW wrestler Joey Janela in what many consider a match of the year candidate for 2021.
At just 16 years old, Wayne will be the youngest wrestler currently on the AEW roster.
