Tonight’s Wrestling Open event was cut short due to a fire scare. During the main event between Brick City Boyz and Shook Crew, the crowd turned their attention to the ceiling of the White Eagle, which was smoking. After the crowd evacuated, the Worcester Fire Department arrived on the scene. Ultimately, it was an air conditioning belt in the venue that caused the burning and the show to end.
I'm so sorry but I believe there's a fire at the White Eagle so we had to abruptly stop tonight's #wrestlingopen event

To the best of my knowledge we got everybody outside of the building safely and there is no active fire. Will post updates as they become available. https://t.co/BNObleVdVg

The culprit of the burning is an air conditioning belt according to the Worcester Fire Department – luckily there was no fire.
Thank you to everyone for their cooperation for getting out safely.
We have been given permission to safely re-enter the building but the show is over. https://t.co/BNObleVdVg
