IWTV officials have made the decision to strip Krule of the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship effectively immediately. The decision comes after the champion sustained a serious injury in his first championship defense against “The Bulldozer” Matt Tremont at ICW No Holds Barred Volume 36. He then had his skull bashed in by Brandon Kirk at Volume 37 on November 19th.
A new champion will be crowned during the Wrestival in Worcester, Massachusetts. A gauntlet match will take place at IWTV’s “Class of ’22” event on December 30th. The gauntlet will feature four former champions, who have already been named, along with contenders picked by a panel of championship committee officials from Pro Wrestling Illustrated and IWTV. Former champions AC Mack, Alex Shelley, Tracy Williams and WARHORSE have all been announced for the Independent Invitational. Who will leave Wrestival with the vacant IWTV World Championship and the thirteenth champion?
