Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced a replacement for Lio Rush in the 2023 edition of the Battle of Los Angeles. Bryan Keith will be Rush’s replacement against SB KENTo in the first round. This will be Bryan Keith’s PWG debut.
Rush was injured at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in a tag team match alongside YOH against Catch 22 (Francesco Akira and TJP). He took a spill face first onto the entrance ramp. Rush said he suffered no facial broken bones, but would be sidelined for a few weeks.
PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles 2023 takes place this weekend, Saturday January 7th and Sunday January 8th at The Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California. The full card for night one is listed below.
