Here is the recap and results for MLW’s Underground Wrestling on Reelz this week.

We open with a replay of last week’s Real 1 vs Mance Warner segment, showing what led up to tonight’s street fight main event. Mance Warner cuts a promo outside the arena talking about how he’s going to beat down Real 1. This isn’t about Real 1 representing the north and him representing the South, Mancer represents everybody. He finishes by saying he’s going to drink some light beers and whoop that ass! This leads into music playing and the intro into the show.

Ring announcer Tim Barr announces the opening contest and introduces Willie Mack. As Mack is making his way down to the ring, announcers Joe Dombrowski & Matt Striker join the show. They run down the lineup for tonight’s show. Calvin Tankman is then introduced and comes down to the ring.

They go to Sam Leterna who is in the Bet Online Studio with Jacob Fatu & Juicy Finau from the Samoan SWAT Team. Sam asks where is Lance? Jacob said he’s always running late, but he’s family and he’ll be here. Leterna then asks Fatu how is he going to contend with Hammerstone this second time around, being he was unsuccessful against him last time? Fatu said he has family behind him now and he’s going to be home in Philly. He closes by saying “the belt is coming back home where it belongs”!

Willie Mack vs. Calvin Tankman

The match starts, and the crowd is cheering for both wrestlers. Both competitors start off by sizing each other up, taking turns shoulder blocking each other. After an awkward exchange between the two, Mack gets the better of Tankman by hitting a dropkick to his stomach, causing him to roll out to the floor. Mack then hits a front flip over the top rope onto Tankman outside of the ring. The match makes its way back to the inside of ring. After both wrestlers exchange slaps across the chest with each other, as well as taking turns twisting each others nipples in the corner, Mack hits Tankman with a huge clothesline knocking him down. We go to a commercial break.

Coming back from the break Tankman uppercuts Mack. He goes to pick up Mack but he breaks free hitting Tankman with a spinning back kick and big Samoan drop. Mack pops up and does his standing moonsault but only gets a two count. Mack goes to the top rope but doesn’t connect, Tankman hits his Tankman Driver to get the 3 count and pick up the victory.

There was clear cooperation from both wrestlers with each other throughout the match.  There were also a couple of spots where both wrestlers did not look to be on the same page. I do like both of these talents, however this match was just okay for me.

Result: Calvin Tankman defeats Willie Mack via pinfall.

We cut to a video tape being played on a tv showing Luchadoras Lady Shani, La Hiedra, & Reina Dorada, who were suppose to wrestle in a triple threat match tonight. They were all attacked and laid out by the calling card attackers, with the AO card being left on each of them. The announce team cuts in and said because of this, the match card is now being shuffled as they speak.

They once again show the clips from last week between Real 1 and Mance Warner. From there Real 1 cuts a promo on Warner, stating he is the product of when 2 slobs from the south meet and make a mistake in a pro-life state!

We go to clip of the main event of last week between Alex Hammerstone vs EJ Nduka. Hammerstone then speaks in a backstage segment about Jacob Fatu and facing him at Superfight. He said it looks like they are destined to fight forever. No matter how many challenges or opponents come between them, it always goes back to them two. He continues to talk about how even few people thought he got lucky last time. He’s going to prove all the doubters wrong. Announcers talk about the World Title Match at Superfight, but that Hammerstone first has to get past Yamato next week. They make the announcement that next week, these two will be facing off for the MLW World Title.

MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship: Taya Valkyrie (c) vs Zoey Skye

Zoey gets out quickly using her speed to start off strong. Taya catches Zoey’s leg in the corner, kicks her, and completes a DDT to take control. Taya takes match to the outside and we go to a commercial break.

We come back from the break with the action back in the ring and Valkyrie is still in control. They cut to the back to show all 3 Luchadoras laid out, with the announcers stating they were critically injured. Back to the match, Zoey goes to the outside of the ring and lures Taya outside. Zoey goes back into the ring and catches Taya in the ropes with a double knee. Zoey then goes up to the top rope and hits a drop kick with Taya still stuck in the ropes. Zoey goes to top rope again and hits a big cross body for a two count. Zoey goes up to the top rope for a third time. This time she misses and Taya comes back with a push kick. Taya who has now become angry, takes Zoey and performs the Road To Valhalla. She gets the three count and successfully retains her title. This match was a good match and told the story pretty well. Skye had some moments, but in the end the champion was too much for her!

Result: Taya Valkyrie (c) defeats Zoey Skye via pinfall to retain her title.

Sam Leterna is on the ramp and welcomes Billie Starkz to MLW. The crowd was happy to see her cheering “Billie”! Valkyrie who is coming up the ramp with Cesar Duran, stares Billie down. Valkyrie starts talking trash and asked Billie, isn’t her mom waiting for her with a carpool in the parking lot? Duran takes the mic and says you’re just a child. Then says to come talk to us when you’re out of diapers. Taya sends Billie off to the back.

Next we see a clip from last week showing the brawl between Bomaye Fight Club & Davey Boy Smith Jr with the Billington Bulldogs.

Alex Kane cuts a promo with the Opera Cup. From there they go to Sam Leterna with Davey Boy Smith Jr & Billington Bulldogs. Sam asks Smith what’s next after being away for 2 years? Smith introduces the Billingtons. Sam then talks about Alex King stealing the Opera Cup. Smith talks about the cup‘s history and how his grandfather Stu Hart was the first ever cup winner. Smith gives Kane some advice. He told him when he puts one of his holds on him, don’t forget to tap before he naps.

We get an announcement that Thomas and Mark Billington will be in action next week. And that coming up next is the main event street fight.

Cameras then go to the outside showing Lance Anoa’i walking towards building. EJ Nduka attacks him from behind with a cinder block to his head. He proceeds to tell Lance to let Fatu know that last week was suppose to be his moment. From there we go to a commercial break.

Coming back from break we get a replay of what happened moments ago between EJ & Lance.

Next Sam Leterna is with Lio Rush backstage. She welcomes Lio back. Rush proceeds to say for the second go around, it is time to remind people who he is here at MLW.

Main Event – Street Fight: Real 1 vs Mance Warner

Real 1 comes out to the ring. He grabs the mic and starts talking about Mance Warner. Warner comes out with weapons.

The match starts and Real 1 fires first with a drop kick. Mance however takes control quickly with a running chop as Real 1 is running towards him. Mance throws Real 1 to the outside and he tries getting away as Mance follows him. Real 1 gets a hold of Mance and throws him into the guard rail. Real 1 then hits a Razor’s Edge on Mance into the ring post. We go to a commercial break.

Coming back from the break Real 1 is still in control. Mance is placed sitting in a chair set up in the ring. Real 1 hits him with a kendo stick. Announce Team break into the action with news advising that Lance Anoa’i was taken to the hospital.

Back in the ring Real 1 tries to hit Mance again with the kendo stick but misses. Mance takes control with punches and elbows. He then completes a drop toehold onto the chair and hits Real 1 with the kendo stick. Back and forth they go. Real 1 attempts a drop kick from the top rope but Mance hits him with a garbage can laying around in the ring. Real 1 goes to the corner. As Mance is running towards him Real 1 pulls the ref in front of him. While Mance is distracted Real 1 hits him with brass knuckles he put on his hand, that he had hidden in his trunks. Real 1 covers Warner to get the three count!

Result: Real 1 def. Mance Warner.

We conclude with Real 1 going up the ramp to the back and Warner still in the ring with the ref. The show closes with coming attractions for next weeks show.
