Last night at GCW’s “Eye For An Eye” live from Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York, “Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich defeated GCW World Champion Nick Gage by making him pass out to a sleeper hold to capture the championship. Slamovich ended a 160 day reign from Gage for what was his third GCW title run.
Gage had captured the GCW World Championship for the third time at GCW Fight Club in October 2022 from AEW star Jon Moxley. Gage went on to successfully defend the championship against Lio Rush, Cole Radrick, Tony Deppen and Mike Bailey before dropping the title to Slamovich.
The show ended with Masha celebrating her victory with her parents inside the ring. She now holds six championships including the AAW Women’s Championship, CFU Championship, ETU Key to the East Championship, West Coast Pro Women’s Championship and the Top Talent Wrestling Academy Championship.
