IWTV Independent Wrestling World Champion Matt Tremont has released a statement following his cancelation of this weekend’s Ruthless Pro and ICW No Holds Barred appearances. The deathmatch legend was scheduled to compete in three matches this upcoming weekend in Chicago.

First at ICW NHB Volume 47 on Friday, Tremont was scheduled to take on Dr Redacted. The following day at Ruthless Pro’s “Take As Needed For Pain” he was involved in a four way match which included Atticus Cogar, Tommy Vendetta and Japanese legend Abdullah Kobayashi. Later on in the evening Tremont was set to compete for the ICW American Deathmatch Championship against champion Hoodfoot at ICW NHB Volume 48.

In a statement posted by ICW and UnFnBelievableX on Instagram, Tremont apologizes to both promotions as well as the fans. He states that he’s currently in the hospital after passing out following his match on Sunday at H2O “7 F’n Years” where he competed in a 700 Light Tube Match against Neil Diamond Cutter. His numbers are very low and not good.

As of the posting last night, he is unaware of when he will be leaving the hospital. He once again apologizes for not being able to appear as advertised, and hopes to get out to the Midwest ASAP. You can read the full statement below.

PWPonderings want to wish Matt Tremont a speedy recovery.
