Following another successful title defense from GCW World Champion Blake Christian at GCW’s “Look At Me”, Joey Janela who was on commentary for the match, was challenged by Blake Christian to a title versus title match.
Janela took the mic and said, after a lackluster time with AEW, he had to solidify himself as the king of the independents for the past two years. He states that while he’s been killing himself, Blake has been making a mockery of the letters that he put on the map.
Janela goes on to say that he doesn’t want the match to happen at Spring Break 8, he wants to walk into Spring Break as the champion. There is no word yet on when this match will occur.
