Sami Callihan is having a match against AKIRA for MLW, but he’s doing so under a handshake agreement with the promotion according to him on an interview he did with FIghtful.
Sami Callihan is still a free agent and has been talking with various promotions, including MLW but has not signed any contract yet. Callihan’s deal with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling expired at the end of October of last year.
Callihan has also been working as a backstage agent which is something he wants to do more of for other promotions while he also continues to run the successful Pro Wrestling Revolver.
