On Saturday, February 18th, the Wrestling REVOLVER held its big show, “Whatashow.” The show saw a lot of great moments, matches, and debuts and it was capped off by a major four-way main event that saw Alex Shelley defend his Wrestling REVOLVER World Championship against Alan Angels, Exodus Prime, and JD Griffey. The show also saw a return of a major star around the world today.
In the second match of the night, Vert Vixen squared off with Matthew Palmer and defeated him after an incredible bout. However, the big news came after the match when Athena confronted Vert Vixen in the entranceway. Athena got in the face of Vixen, sticking up for her husband, Matthew Palmer, in the process.
When their confrontation landed them both back into the ring, Vixen landed a big pedigree on the Ring of Honor Women’s Champion to leave her lying. This seemingly sets up a future match between two of the bigger stars around today. Vixen is one of the best on the independent wrestling scene, and it’s easy to see why. Athena on the other hand has more main stream exposure but continues to prove herself night in and night out as to why she’s one of the best in the entire world today.
