Limitless Wrestling had their latest event, Bitter Taste, that streamed live on IWTV. Here is a review and recap of the event that took place in front of a sold out crowd at the Yarmouth Amvets in Yarmouth, Maine.

Street Fight Match: Sami Callihan vs. Ace Romero

This match was everything you would expect in a Callihan street fight match. There were weapons and non-stop back-and-forth action. There was even a spot where Callihan flipped off Romero’s mom, who was in the crowd.

In the end, Romero outlasts Callihan, hitting him with a tremendous elbow drop to pick up the three-count and win.

Result: Ace Romero defeats Sami Callihan via pinfall.

Ricky Smokes vs. Gabby Forza

Forza has become an absolute fan favorite at Limitless. She got off to a quick start on Smokes and showcased her power with a bench press slam. In typical Smokes fashion, he used the ropes as leverage when covering Forza to pick up the win.

After the match, Forza tried pleading her case to the ref. When the referee would not listen, Forza would spear the referee to the crowd’s cheer!

Result: Ricky Smokes defeats Gabby Forza via pinfall.

Handicap Match: Megan Bayne vs. The Bratz (Paris Van Dale & Shannon Levangie)

Paris Van Dale & Shannon Levangie came down to the ring and cut a heel promo on the mic to be interrupted by Megan Bayne. The handicap match is announced.

“The Megasus” was showcased very well in the match, while The Bratz had a brief moment. It was all about Bayne’s debut and her unbelievable strength.

Bayne put both women away in a pretty dominant fashion. She hit a Tombstone Pile Driver on Levangie, which she stacked on Van Dale, already laid out to win.

Result: Megan Bayne defeated The Bratz (Paris Van Dale & Shannon Levangie)

Dezmond Cole & JT Dunn vs. Charles Mason & Richard Holliday

The match was supposed to be a one-on-one match between Mason and Cole. Richard Holliday comes down, and as he distracts Cole, Mason attacks him from behind. The two start beating down on Cole.

JT Dunn comes down to make the save for Dezmond Cole. Dunn picks up a mic and challenges Mason and Holliday to a tag team match, which they accept.

Both teams had moments in the match. Ultimately, Charles Mason & Richard Holliday was too much for Cole & Dunn. Mason hit a tombstone piledriver on Cole.

After the match, Dunn hits Cole from behind with his Death By Elbow once Danny Miles and Trigga OG show up from The Unit.

Result: Charles Mason & Richard Holliday defeated Dezmond Cole & JT Dunn.

Lio Rush vs. Alec Price

This match could very well have been the match of the night! Both wrestlers had moments and spots in the match. The crowd was very into the match. Alec Price wound up pulling out the win in this highly contested bout.

After the match, Price and Rush raised each other’s hands in a great show of sportsmanship. Price also announced he was returning for the Limitless Wrestling World Championship again. He put the Limitless Champion, World Class Channing Thomas, on notice!

Result: Alec Price defeats Lio Rush via pinfall.

Above The Rest (Gabriel Skye & Tristen Thai) vs. The Unit (Danny Miles & Trigga)

These teams are two of the best tag teams currently on the Independent Wrestling circuit, and the match delivered. Above The Rest outlasted and defeated The Unit in an excellent tag team match.

Result: Above The Rest (Gabriel Skye & Tristen Thai) defeated The Unit (Danny Miles & Trigga).

Limitless World Championship Match: Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs. Rip Byson

As usual, Bakabella tried to interfere multiple times in this match to help Thomas win—every attempt failed by the two.

World Class Channing Thomas did wind up retaining the Limitless World Championship by defeating RIP Byson with a Small Package.

Alec Price was on commentary during this main event. After the match, Price had enough of Bakabella and delivered a SurPrize Kick to him.

Result: Channing Thomas defeated RIP Byson via pinfall to retain championship.
