Ziggy Haim has announced that she will be pulling from all her bookings and is taking a hiatus from professional wrestling immediately.

Earlier this year, Haim had stated that 2024 would be her final year in wrestling as she wanted to explore life outside of wrestling. Well, her hiatus from wrestling came sooner than expected.

Haim was scheduled for several events during WrestleMania week including a match against Paris Sahara at 880 Wrestling, as well as competing at Effy’s Big Gay Brunch as a member of Team Pollow against Team Parrow. She was also set to face Delilah Doom at Wrestler’s Lab on May 26th.

Ziggy Haim is a former Ryse Wrestling Grand Champion and Enjoy Wrestling Tag Team Champion alongside Derek Dillinger.

We at PWPonderings would like to wish Ziggy Haim the best in her future endeavors.

You can read the full statement below.

i know i will be disappointing a lot of people, but i need to be honest and the honest truth is that i’m wrestling because it’s what i feel like everyone else wants me to do.

i was so dead set on having an amazing final year that i was ignoring that i cant take care of myself later, i have to do it right now.

i love and appreciate the support of my last year so much, but these are opportunities that are deserving of someone who appreciates them, and I DESERVE to do them when i can appreciate them. because i do and i will i’m not done with wrestling, i love it with all my heart. but i’ve never in my adult life not been in it. i just need to experience life while i’m not a part of this strange social bubble and hurting my body relentlessly. but it’s not goodbye.

thank you endlessly. i’m so sorry. thank you for everything.
