Following the live stream of last night’s Game Changer Wrestling event “Role Model”, the Detroit crowd was treated to a bonus dark match. The crowd at Harpos witnessed a deathmatch between GCW fan favorite Jimmy Lloyd and RackaRacka.
Who is RackaRacka?
Deathmatch wrestling fans might be familiar with Michael Philippou known as RackaRacka or RackaRacka Clown, from his insane deathmatch at Horrorslam vs GCW back in September 2021, against none other than Jimmy Lloyd.
The two were supposed to have a rematch later that month for Violence x Suffering, but according to VxS promoter Isaac Rodriguez, Racka dropped off due to visa issues. They were signed to compete in a 200 Lighttube Deathmatch. ICW No Holds Barred then announced a match between Jimmy Lloyd and RackaRacka at NHB Volume 47 on June 16, 2023. The match was announced on June 8th and less than 24 hours the promotion announced that the match won’t be happening.
Outside of the wrestling world, Michael Philippou is known for directing A24’s “Talk To Me” alongside his twin brother Danny Philippou. The movie ended up being one of the top horror movies of 2023 and made nearly 100 million in the box office.
Last night’s match was filmed for an upcoming deathmatch documentary being released by A24, which the crew have been filming for nearly a year. No word yet as to when the documentary will be released. You can watch clips of the match below.
