Owner and promoter of Absolute Intense Wrestling, John Thorne, has stated that as of this past Friday, August 23rd, he has terminated AIW’s contract with Triller.
The statement goes on to say, “we will keep everyone updated as we explore options for a new home for our video library and live streaming content in the coming weeks. As of right now we do not have plans to stream any of our upcoming events live.”
This will effect their upcoming JT Lightning Invitational Tournament which takes place annually. The tournament is a two show event on September 28 which features Slim J, Matt Makowski, Dominic Garrini, and others.
The only way to see their September 14th and 28th events will be live and in person, as they search for a new distribution partnership.
As of this morning all of AIW’s content has been removed from the streaming site. AIW had left the streaming service IWTV, back in 2022 to join FiteTV/Triller.
Recently, VXS promoter Isaac Rodriguez accused Triller of being behind on payments, which caused the promotion to leave the service.
