Demand Lucha is a Lucha Libre based promotion in Toronto, Canada. This event features, Marcus Mathers, Jimmy Lloyd, Jack Cartwheel and a main event with Los Medicos against AAA stars Psycho Clown and Sam Adonis, with a surprise partner in a trios match.

PME and Cody Numbero Cinco vs Xyberhawks

They open up very fast paced, especially when the Xyberhawks in control. There was a slight pause in the action to have a dance line, but PMW and Cody used that distraction to attack the Xyberhawks. Cody and PME slow down the match. However, Xyberhawks are able to hit a dive onto the outside and a double splash for the win. This was a very fun opening match.

Winner: Xyberhawks

Seraphis vs “Broski” Jimmy Llyod

Seraphis brings a door to the ring with him, so it appears that this match will get a little hardcore. Jimmy starts the match trying to avoid the much larger Seraphis. Seraphis appears to finally get his hands on Jimmy, and “The Broski” pulls the referee in front of him. Jimmy hits a Broski Boot on Seraphis, then tries to hit him with a Rough Rider while Seraphis is on a chair, but Seraphis moves. Seraphis hits a Vader Bomb and Broski looks to be in trouble, but he hits Serphis in the crotch. Jimmy hits the Rough Rider, then goes for Radio Silence, but Seraphis catches him and powerbombs him through a door, then sends Jimmy through another door on the other side of the ring and picks up the victory. This was a quick match, but really showed Seraphis as a monster we can like, taking care of The Broski.

Lince Dorado w/ Jose the Assassin vs Jody Theat

Lince attacks Jody as the bell rings. He goes for a dive onto Jody on the outside, but is met with a forearm. Jody gets the advantage when the fight goes to the outside. Back in the ring, they set up some chairs and have an old fashioned bar fight. Jody gets the advantage and hits Lince with a slide through the ropes. Lince hits Jody with springboard cutters and a back stabber, but he can’t put Jody away. Jose constantly distracts the ref and Jody allowing Lince to hit multiple moonsaults. After another distraction, Lince rolls up Jody into a pin and gets the win by holding her tights. This match was good at showing Jody’s toughness, and also showing that Lince will do anything to win.

Winner: Lince Dorado

Scramble Match: Marcus Mathers vs Juni Underwood vs T.I.M. vs Matt Quay vs Wild Stallion Kid

Juni starts the match of with a bang, as he kicks the big man, Matt Quay through the ropes. Juni has control of the match early, until he is met with Marcus, who tosses him out of the ring. Quay gets some revenge on Juni and hits him with a big chokeslam. The energy in the match starts to pick up as T.I.M. hits a moonsault to the outside. Juni hits a slingshot destroyer, then Marcus hits a destroyer on Juni. T.I.M. hits a Storm Breaker and a Swanton Stomp for the win. T.I.M. was impressive in the end, he is a very under rated wrestler who always delivers. Marcus Mathers is becoming one of the top indie stars and Juni is someone who was trained by Speedball Mike Bailey and always impresses me whenever I see him wrestle. I have never seen Matt Quay before, but I really liked him in this match and would love to see more of him.

Premier Championship: Jack Cartwheel (c) vs Jose the Assassin w/ Lince Dorado

Jose tries to keep the match at a slow, methodical pace. Lince is there to cause a distraction or blatantly grab Jack’s leg to make sure that Jose continues to keep control of the match. Once it gets out of their control, Jose retreats and they fight back through the locker room to the changing room, Lince keeps interfering but Jack puts a stop to that, at least for the moment, by hitting a Saske Special on both of them. Lince brings the championship belt into the ring and hits the referee with it. As the ref is down, Lince and Jose double team Jack, until Jody Threat comes down to even the odds. Jack hits the Jack Arrow for the win.

Los Medicos vs Sam Adonis, Psycho Clown and Freddie Mercurio

If you have never seen Los Medicos, they are a trio of men who dress in scrubs and have white masks. There is also a doctor that comes to the ring with them. Sam and Psycho Clown are typically enemies, but they have earned each other’s respect through their battles and both hate Los Medicos. The third member to their team was a surprise, and it is the returning Freddie Mercurio, This Freddie has been gone from Demand Lucha for a long time, as he was under the doctor’s control and forced to be FredDIE. This match goes crazy almost from the start and they are fighting all over the building. They are using chairs, garbage cans, and whatever they can get their hands on. Psycho Clown hits a suplex on 2 of the members of Los Medicos, then Sam hits them with a 450. It looks like they are going to get the win, but the doctor pulls the ref out of the ring. However, Freddie goes to the top and gets his revenge by hitting a moonsault and picking up the win for his team.

Winners: Sam Adonis, Psycho Clown and Freddie Mercurio

This was a really fun show. It kept a fast pace and every match was entertaining. The main event saw the return of one of the biggest stars in Demand Lucha history as he helped two of the biggest stars of Lucha Libra get the victory. This show aired on IWTV and the replay should be up shortly.
