Dezmond Cole Wins The Limitless Wrestling World Championship

On Saturday, September 21st, Limitless Wrestling held its big ninth anniversary show, “Nine Lives.” The show came to us live from Yarmouth, Maine and featured a ton of huge matches and big moments. However, perhaps none were bigger than the crowning of a new Limitless Wrestling World Champion in Dezmond Cole.

The main event of Limitless Wrestling’s ninth anniversary show saw “World Class” Channing Thomas put his Limitless Wrestling World Championship on the line against “Da Big Boofa” Dezmond Cole. Cole has been on arguably one of the biggest runs of his career lately, and it all culminated tonight when he won his first major singles title in Limitless Wrestling. Cole is, and has been for quite some time, one of the biggest fan favorites in Limitless Wrestling, so the choice to put the title on him here tonight was a no-brainer.

With all that said it should not be forgotten how good Channing Thomas was as the champion. He helped put Limitless Wrestling on the map and was a great choice to be the top face of the company. Love or hate him, he deserved that run and crushed it in every single way. Thomas has an incredibly bright future wherever he may go.

The match between Cole and Thomas was a fantastic main event which was an incredible way to cap off Limitless Wrestling’s ninth anniversary show. Cole took out Aiden Aggro, J-Heru, and Sidney Bakabella during this match to even the playing field between him and Thomas. Thomas tried to use the belt to win, but it was not to be. Ultimately, Cole rolled up Thomas to win the belt for the first time, and put an end to Thomas’ near 400 day reign as champion.
