Hello, my name is James and this will be my last post as Aaron Mercer. As of this post I will no longer be a professional wrestler. 7 years ago I gave up on my basketball dreams and started on another dream of professional wrestling. Over those 7 years I’ve had the privilege of wrestling people from WWE, AEW, NXT, ROH, NJPW, DDT NOAH, MLW, TNA, and the list goes on. l’ve had the opportunity to travel around to several states. Ride for hours in cars with different awesome people. Share locker rooms with amazing people. Experience a world that as a kid I never could’ve even imagined being a part of. If you have ever invested time or money into me I thank you. If you think you wasted your time or money with me 1 am sorry. But as I type this out, I have given everything I had left. My passion for this is gone. My love for this is gone. The aches and pains and injuries have caught up. The wheels have fallen off. If this seems out of the blue, it’s not. I’ve had this on my mind for two years, going back and forth and I woke up yesterday and realized it’s time. My son is growing up and I’d like to be able to actually spend time with him and play with him and not be in pain while doing so. I will never forget the chants of “Mercer”. People coming up to ME asking for pictures and autographs and merch. You made a kid from a small town of 1000 people feel like a superstar. I thank you. If you have announced me for upcoming shows or matches. I’m sorry for wasting your time. If I’ve let anyone down 1 am sorry. I’m hurt. I’m old. I’m tired. I worked with a bunch of amazing people. And 1 just want to go home. I love you all. Mercer. Out.

PWPonderings wishes James (Aaron Mercer) good luck in his future.
