Independent wrestler Sawyer Wreck has announced her retirement following her November 16 booking. She stated that tonight’s (Sunday October 27) Death In The Family event will be her second to last booking. She will be facing Brick Savage in a Street Fight. The show will stream live on IWTV at 6pm ET.
Then on November 16 in Orlando, Florida, Wreck will be competing in Game Changer Wrestling’s NGI 9 tournament. The deathmatch tournament includes Rina Yamashita, John Wayne Murdoch, Drew Parker, Dr Redacted, Brandon Kirk, Takayuki Ueki, Violento Jack and Tank, with the possibility of more entrants being announced. This will be her final show.
Wreck began her wrestling career in 2019 and competed in promotions such as GCW, Beyond Wrestling, H2O, Black Label Pro, TWE, TJPW, Deadlock Pro, and others. She has competed against Billie Starkz, Joey Janela, John Wayne Murdoch, Krule, Masha Slamovich, Miyu Yamashita, Queen Aminata, and others. You can read the full statement below.
I’ve been hesitant to say something because words are hard. But after November 16 I will be hanging my boots up. I’lI probably spend the next ten years trying to process the whole of things I’ve experienced during this era of my life lol but will forever be grateful for all the love shown and energy given to me by this community. So if you’re in Austin, Texas today (oct27) or Orlando, Florida November 16 and want to watch me leave it all in the ring and probably be even more emotionally charged than usual here’s the opportunity. Forever violently yours Sawyer wreck
